Maybe cuz the latest MIUI Roms are based on sense. Sense is weird, my ps3 controllers haven't worked since my EVO 4g, then the 3D. It works fine with aosp roms

Kernel related. HTC uses a custom and stupid bluetooth stack. There's no "fix" but to use an AOSP kernel, which obviously won't work in Sense.
ICS supports wired controllers, yes (otg supported kernel needed), but only a few games support controllers (virtua tennis, riptide hd, shadowgun, and a few more). So we need a touch emulation mode, therefore the sixaxis controller app to play other games. But the Sixaxis Controller app only supports wireless connections, which sense roms do not. And i cannot have a look at the link, its under maintenance
How can you be sure that it is kernel related? If so, i think it should be easier to fix it.
Yes, very true about touch emulation. Because it is a real shame that so very few games are supported. A lot of people do purchase the more expensive 3D games, and I'm sure they would be willing to spend a little bit more on an app that allowed controller use on all games that were applicable. (FPS, Action games, etc). There would have to be half decent money in that! Oh really? Well, I didn't know that. Damn, that's another reason to upgrade.
Buy a 2nd hand PS3 bluetooth keypad ( mine cost £3 from my local Game store ) + some bluetack to do a similar thing.
Haha that's funny. I have a keypad and do exactly that. Except now I use double-sided tape, as its more secure when laying down.

There's no problem with touch emulation mode on sixaxis controller app. The problem is, we cannot use sixaxis controller app on sense based roms. Without sixaxis controller, we have no chance to have a touch emulation mode.View attachment 1303027
As you can see, touch emulation is supported in the latest version of the Sixaxis app (0.5.7). I haven't had the time to test it out yet. I'm hoping it works well with Aralon HD!

in the past i fixed sense kernels to work with sixaxis (on desire hd and other gingerbread devices). Now i'm doing the same on sensation...the sixaxis app works, there's only problems to pair controllers now....stay tuned to the sensation android developement section Any progress ?This is my current work
