i got mine yesterday, wifi seems to work fine at 65Mbps connection speed it says, but im like 10 ft away in the same room
im running 4.2.2 stock android firmware on the device, i tried to flash new rom but i cannot get that finless rom program to detect my device

also cannot get it to dtect the OTG cable or get it working, havn't tried SD card

maybe i need a bigger power supply then stock

i connected a usb3.0 HUB and it seems to work

would this power USB plug work?

did antutu bench: got 17119 bad framerates like 8fps! i think stock is running 720p kernel? mali-400 MP 1280x672?

If you use a usb3 hub with the device, there would be no need to buy a different power supply as it can draw power from the hub as well.
Regarding connection problems with pc, did u take the correct steps?
1 disconnect your device from all power sources
2 press and hold the device button (you need a paper clip to do so)
3 Connect the otg port to your pc
4 release the device button

Also it is known that there is a problem with rockusb drivers and win8.1

i still can't figure out how to use external HD, i plug into the usb3.0 hub and the mk908 doesnt detect it....i think OTG is working on my usb pendrive, its weird mount place, i guess it varies from android devices

You need to power the hub to use usb hdd on the device. Also i suggest to use a 2.5" hdd as the 3.5" devices do not spin down but run forever, which may not be the best solution...
Regarding the hole, i guess its one of these, i dont have the device at hand currently... just stick in a paper clip and see if you feel a button click, if yes you got the right one... and i think it wint complane if u hit the wrong...

Hmm, i dont feel that it sucks at all, however, while i am not a fan of those software audio mods which only put additional strain on the cpu, i think you could give it a try since it actually does not matter because we dont have a battery to waste...

so i've been playing around with this, stock 720p , and its painfully slow at times even with 2gb RAM! wow, lags so badly at times, quad core doesn't mean chit lol

how do i overclock this thing? had a couple random reboots too

im running nova launcher prime, cooling with a small usb fan, might have to use an ice pack or something, this thing really heats up lol

wifi is good but im like 10 ft away from router in same room

I was trying for the last week to find a method to successfully switch between input languages from keyboard on the mk908
Does anybody found a solution for that?

im using it for a seed box for torrent..It run 24/7 and it quite stable..

using it also to see movies in 720P

I got an 2amp power supply with the buy.. I think that solve many or all problems...

Which board revision fo u have? I always have the wifi disconnecting on my v3 board after a while, so i had to build a tasker profile that checks if wifi !connected ->disable wifi, enable wifi set $Recon= $Recon+1, write file (append) reconnect.log $TIMEDATE, $Recon

This way i see that it is random frequency. Someone mentioned that it could be router fault which i can not denie as i had no chance yet to try with different router.

I dont use it for gaming at all, so no help there, but you did configure it correctly?

Edit: Probably touch driver is missing, look for that on freaktab.

Any link for a change log or whats new with the new firmware. I tried searching around but could not find anything.
