STEP 2: Download: didn't download stack, got freedomboot from another forum, used latest twrp build for kf2, already had 10.2.4, used cm10 latest stable, got gapps from cm website
so my main question is should i be able to get into fastboot with cm10/twrp/freedomboot? also what exactly does freedomboot do? in freedomboot there is an option "reset boot mode" what does that do? and cm10 boot screen is displayed as landscape when starting, but soon switches to portrait as the boot finishes, how can i fix this?
EDIT: i also used the kindle fire utility for some of this process, and to actually put twrp and freedomboot i used a factory cable
