Trouble rooting Z4 tablet

hey, im new to the forum.
I wanted to root my z4 tablet so i could use it to play nvidia shield games like half life 2 and portal. for some reason i like to do stuff im not suposed to do
but I unlocked my bootloader successfully (i think) and when i was installing the custom kernel from androplus it took like around one sec to finnish afterwards i type something like fastboot reboot in cmd but no supersu or root access i went to settings and saw my kernel version was [email protected] #141 I thin i sucessfully flashed the costum kernel but didn't gain root access. I want root access can somebody help. and i also tryed another kernel but then i bricked it. i freaked out for a bit but just installed the other kernel again. and it worked. im still using androplus. please help me i would really appreciate it!!

You installed AndroPlus kernel correct, after that you have to install TWRP and after that SU

acctually I tryed to do that too, but how do i boot to the recovery, and when im flashing twpr is it normal that it takes like 1 sec to install because that seemed weird to me?? thanks alot for replying

tell us the actual output you see after

fastboot flash recovery TWRPxxx.img

After the flash went through successfully you should see for a short time a yellow light on each boot.
Press "volume up" key during that time.
