i already tried that without success.
I found the information in that thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-partitions-backup-t3003599
which lead me to the s3 threads too.
Without using dd commands the app does it for you.
That method is propably not supported.

damn i still have a hard bricked s7562 lying around waiting for its time

they had used exactly the same size sd card, in our case, its 4gb internal, they found class 10 to be working, but few others also reported having success on cards above their internal card size(in their case it was 16gb of internal) so they even had success using 32gb card.
give this a try, with other sd cards. I really hope you get this working.

I have another thread for tab devices too, if you have time, you can give it a look too, might give you some new thoughts?

These files here are to be used with care and only on Samsung Galaxy S Dous GT-S7562.

Information about what we are going to do here
basically these files will flash, re-partition and write data to your device the way it was shipped to you. so whatever changes you have made to the device system, boot or recovery will be replaced to default sorting out any bugs within the different partitions.
you may hesitate to flash this firmware rather than your country firmware, but the first thing we should do here is make your phone start working again. after that you can flash to your baseband. the files are all here on xda. and you can always find a way around.

Requirements
1. A bricked gt-s7562 where you can only have access to the download mode by pressing Down+Power button+Home button if its hard brick where you can't even reach download mode and recovery and looks like its dead, check thread post #4
2. Working Data cable
3. PC with windows
4. Make sure your recovery is dead have you been pressing all the up down home and power button and releasing after seeing the samsung screen?

Instructions. (follow it or stay dead)

1. Download the zip file S7562DXBMD1_S7562OLBBMD1_S7562XXBMD2_Android_4.0.4_4 and save it on your pc.
2. Extract the files using any winzip, winrar, 7zip
3. Open odin3 v3.07.exe
4. Browse PIT and navigate to the downloaded folder to find the file "signed_kyle_v2_0604.pit"
5. Browse Bootloader and open file BOOTLOADER_S7562XXBMD2_1216076_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
6. Browse PDA and open file CODE_S7562XXBMD2_1216076_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
7. Browse Phone and open file MODEM_S7562DXBMD1_1216076_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
8. Browse CSC and Open file CSC_OLB_S7562OLBBMD1_1216076_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
9. Check that auto reboot, re-partition and f-reset time are ticked. (see screenshot to cross check.)

10. You sure? then start the process and wait for it to complete.

I just tried this & bam.. it booted up

Doesn't work till now.

Save the money and get yourself another device.

How is it bricked.
Is it shown as usb device in pc when connected? Or nothing?

I've flashed s3 rom on my phone than bam !!!!! nothing ........... dead !

You can check how much j-tag will cost you, that's your only way out with the same device.

about the de-brick method, I still haven't got that chance to check myself, as I haven't suffered any hardbricks on any of my device, I know I will have to purposely hard brick my device just to check that method works or not.
other's have checked on 2gb 8gb cards(which didn't worked) but I don't know if people have checked with 4gb and 16gb class 10 cards, I won't say it's not supported until people have tried these 2 cards as well(it would have been better if samsung had disclosed information about this, but sadly there is no confirmation and no completed test). I know it's just beating around the bushes, but without failure, success can't be achieved .

another option?
You can sell this device at whatever price you can get, buy another good 2nd hand device from market or online selling site. if luck favors, you can get good device. there are many people selling their good device at throwaway price. even if there is little damage you can see how much extra it will cost for repair. who knows you might get a way better deal than expecting.

at now , i have test a 16GB card class 10 with 1 priority and doesn't work !
So , the debrick method can't help !
this is really baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad .... and the problem i have not JTAG in our region !

Tried with or without pit file?

if you can still access recovery, go to the custom recovery and wipe data and cache
reboot to download mode.
put firmware file in pda section check both the
auto reboot and f-reset time only (don't use re-partition without pit file.)

see if it works.

ok, what else have to tried doing in download mode?

have you tried with or without pit file?
did you tried flashing a custom recovery from download mode?

what error you get?

hard brick where there is no download or recovery mode, needs J-tag to unbrick. sorry brother, I can't help you with that.
but
if you have a working download mode, you can recover by following the instructions on the first page.

the debrick method hasn't been successful on our device for few people who tried.

no other way right now.
