trying to install swype again

i flashed tmous stock rom with duttys 21896 build and everythings great. im trying to put swype back on because its awesome and cant seem to get it working. i have the zip with all the files but there seems to be no cab for installation?

do i just extract the files to the /windows directory to get it functioning? tried it but still not workin'.

what do you mean "l have the zip" are you sure you aren't just opening the cab with winzip/winrar on the pc? cos if you do it will open like a zip.

Yeah, Good luck with searching Google for a copy of Swype without encountering dodgy websites and requests for payment, not to mention the copy on XDA which has been reported to reset the PIN on installed devices so they aren't accessable

I'm sure some people here would be interested in the contents of your zip file for analysis though.

Touch the up arrow to the right of the input icon (bottom middle of screen) and choose swype as the input method.

no... your windows os uses the same icon for zip files and cab files ;-)
