Friends,
I am trying to root this note 3 on android 5.0. My other note 3 on 4.2.2 worked fine with king root. Read about 5.0 online and it was supposed to work with King Root, KingO Root and also the Arabic Tool. It's the sm-N900V OF1 model. King Root gives me the error code Ox1F1FD6 and the other says unit not supported, One does recognize the cell as a N900V 5.0 and one finds HLTEVZW which I think is Verizons name. The only root I have gotten to start is the arabic tool and it got to 'flashing device' please wait, but just kept running doing nothing. Thankfully phones okay.
I just bought it and it is empty except for titanium and super su and a couple other things. I don't have experience with 'flashing' like odin... maybe thats like an executable file in windows ?? . Just want root to delete 80% of the stuff on it. Thanks for taking the time to read this. :( D.K.

Are you using Windows 7? Also, I assume you are using this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...b6-of1-n900v-note-3-verizon-oneclick-t3333569) tool to root? If so, I could not get it to work at all either. It would say the same thing but would never reboot my phone into download mode to actually flash anything. I ended up upgrading my laptop to Windows 10 when it was free to upgrade and used this tool (http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-note-3/general/root-n900v-5-0-of1-one-click-t3330098) instead. It rooted my phone successfully within 90 seconds.
