Trying to root the Zenfone 2 laser ZE551KL

Hi all, I'm trying to root my ZE551KL. I unlocked my bootloader and i'm following this guide by rajlko but the link to the img file is dead and from some of the comments it appears it doesn't work correctly for this model. I can't seem to find any guide. Has anyone successfully rooted this phone. Thanks!
