I have the M600s with 2012 ford focus, and also my front parking sensors don't work.
Neither does the day/night switching of the unit.
The "button panel" has an internal canbus decoder, so I am not sure if we can connect an external decoder?

Unfortunate that it didn't work :-(
* Where you able to connect both sides of the canbus unit to the wiring harness? (I don't remember in detail which connectors it had)
* Did the "real" buttons still work?

It could be that the fact that you (=we...) can't select SimpleSoft, could be the issue why the front parking sensors are still not found.
We should try to find a module that actually can be selected from our radio model I gues...

Nothing can be done. I saw a video that there is an XP option for simplesoft for this type of radio. I disconnected the 20 pin and 16 pin connector and plugged into the SimpleSoft canbus. All sensors not working. On the contrary, it responded to the parking assistant, but without sensors to no avail. And after disconnecting those connectors, non-functional physical buttons.
