TTS engine apk???

Anyone have a JB 4.2.2 TTS engine apk?? I keep getting an " unfortunately Google TTS engine has stopped working". I read a post somewhere about a fix by replacing the apk in system>app folder and two api files in the system>lib folder but the links with the files to use is dead... Or if anyone has any idea I can try I'd appreciate it.

Already tried: flashing latest gapps, which made my phone cycle on a splash screen/CMW recovery loop.

Hey, anyone got an answer to that ? I'm stuck to google TTS loading forever with "Share" option. Can't make IVONA work, nor VoiceReading or VoiceAloud. Tried every Google TTS apks from first release, none will even launch from the app launcher : I'm using restricted android version 4.2.2. on Icarus Illumina XL (8") e-reader. Thanks for attention
