I haven't had to do this in a long time but how do you change the S voice from over riding the original Google Maps ladies voice?

Thanks
Can I have this moved into questions/troubleshooting?
Also need to know if anyone else is getting a different ladies voice in google maps navigation..Currently sounds like the S Voice lady..Just seeing if a hard reset is needed. Can anyone check their turn by turn real quick?

What about downloading the Google Keyboard? Does that maybe have the options?
This was the 1st thing i did in reaction to hearing a different voice as I remember installing the keyboard would bring the original voice back. But as noted it didn't work. The TTS options in the keyboard only allow samsung..Googles TTS Service is on the phone it just doesn't show up as an option to set it to default

EDIT: Ivona works, just downloaded it..Not as great as stock google but better than the S Voice lady.

I copied this from the g2 forum, but i looked through the directions and it should work for the note. Credit goes out to the Crashseeker from the lg g2 forum.

"I don't know about the other variants, but on the T-Mobile flavor of the LG G2 the default TTS is LG's. It sounds better than Pico, for sure, but it's still too robotic and mispronounces a few things. I couldn't put up with that. I set off to figure out how to get GoogleTTS back. It took a lot of google-fu, but in the end I had achieved my goal, to have that sweet voice talking to me again.

Before you begin, know that you'll need root access to continue.
Step 1: Download the latest GAPPS for your device (as of writing this, it's gapps-jb-20130812-signed.zip): http://goo.im/gapps
NOTE: gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip IS FOR ANDROID 4.3! WATCH WHAT YOU DOWNLOAD!
Step 2: Unzip the zip to your computer or your phone's sdcard. Alternatively, if you have an application like Solid Explorer installed on your phone, you can simply browse the zip for the files I mention below without unzipping the whole thing.
Step 3: Mount /system as read/write
Step 4: Copy system/lib/libpatts_engine_jni_api.so and system/lib/libspeexwrapper.so to /system/lib/ and copy system/app/GoogleTTS.apk to /system/app/
Step 5: Fix the permissions of the above files to 644 and change the ownership to root:root
Step 6: Mount /system as read only
Step 7: Reboot
Step 8: Set Google TTS as your new TTS engine (under Language & input -> Text-to-speech output)
Step 9: ???
Step 10: Profit

TL;DR:
Download GAPPS
Unzip GAPPS to /sdcard/gapps/
Run the following commands:

Reboot
Set Google TTS as your TTS engine"

Wow, I can't believe the Sprint version has this crap too. Here's hoping for an easy fix in the near future.

Well I'm rooted and did the fix for Google TTS..Screen mirroring still works and I got my Turn by Turn navigation lady back.
- I wonder if putting TWRP on here will cause an issue with screen mirroring.

Don't know what Samsung is smoking. I thought my OG Google lady went on vacation the first time I use Nav on this phone. Google lady sounded much sexier.

Well follow the instructions above and the original lady will be back..I think loading a custom recovery will nuke screen mirroring though, not making that jump until I need to I guess.
