I used the full folder (system/lib/modules) from my stock ROM + file that was in LewaOs and not on my stock.
I think the problem it's here.

You can try copy the SQLite database of contacts from your phone to your PC and open it with SQLite Database Browser.
Then see if the chinese text is on database and copy the text and translate them.
That way it will be easier to know where to look.

hm yeah maybe. I need to get a equalizer running, but dsp and miui's musicFx.apk are not working (even when installed all the libs..)

long time i write again .....
Dear OP i try to port MIUI ROM from Giayu G3 n i successfully port it .... everything is working expect Camera and LED flash Light ......likewise in Lewa OS i tried everything posted in this threads...... try to modified boot.img/inir.rc add some camera related files.... but no luck tried replacing some libs file posted in this threads but no luck......
can anyone give me correct methods of porting... i guess i port it wrong way thats why this happens .....

what files exactly did you port from stock? I ported only the mtk_stp_wmt.ko file in system/lib/modules.

my reception on miui is better than stock. A lot....

So true bro MIUI reception is 2x better than my stock But there still a bug in my port blue camera display but when capturing no probs except with the video it remains blue lol

yes, thats why i dont like lewa (lewa is a lot faster though...). also, Lewa os' wifi hook is very bad. on the rom I used, it keeps getting dc'd, and then the network is set as 'disabled' every time...that happens every 5 mins, then i have to scan for wifi to make it work again...ill stick with my buggy miui v5...

let me ask you the same question again what files did you port for camera to work?

all of my miui or lewa port, i just change libcamalgo and libcameracustom, and my camera works, my only problem is i can't increase my picture size,its always stuck in 8mp

I dont understand...my camera is working, but nof focus at all....maybe because stock is 4.1.1 and port is 4.1.2? Benowit got focus on his lewa os too...

How did you even get camera to work? Mine just force closes every time I try to open it..... Even 3rd party camera apps don't work. Is it the screen resolution of the port ROM, or do I have to change some other files in order to get it to work?
