[Tutorial] Create Custom bootanimation's (Very Easy)

I'm running a custom ROM (LeeDroid) and under the specified path is no bootanimation.zip, only a downanimation.zip.
Is there another possibility to change the boot animation, because the bootanimation of LeeDroid is a bit annoying


Edit: I found the "bootanimation.zip" and the audio file under data\local.

I exported as fast png and i saved as uncompressed but i only get a black screen when booting, please help get it working

try this one remove from the beats zip and using root explorer install where you rom has the orignal rename to match if needed

Changed the desc and deleted one of the folders (it had two bootanimation folders then the bootanimation.zip)and zipped in store.

My rice krispies told me what to say

If i want to use a boot animation from a mytouch 4g rom and have the bootanimation.zip, is it possible for me to make it work on the sensation?

Im trying to edit an existing boot animation, but im having a hard time, I keep getting a black screen. Basically I like the ARHD boot animation that has the bios screen then the ARHD loading... screen. But Im trying to get just the loading screen, but when I delete the bios pngs, and change the desc.txt, it doesnt work anymore. Any advice?

ok, unzip the android-loading zip and inside are two zips use the one named bootanimation and using root explorer place it where it goes. should run on loop untill start up. let me know if you have any problems
