Additional to Fastboot mode into the CWM Recovery mode

1.) Phone off, hold the volume down, and then press the power button.
2.) Make sure the phone boot into fastboot mode, the phone connected to the USB cable and computer, until the fastboot usb mode start.
3.) Turn on your computer to CMD mode (DOS mode), and change the folder into ADB tools folder
4.) Type the command: fastboot boot cwm-4.0.1.4-shooteru.img then press enter, until the phone into the CWM Recovery.
5.) Flash rom that you want

=========Old Method========
If your HBoot Version is 1.49.0011 or 1.49.0012 and you install the ROM on XDA EVO 3D GSM ROMs have WIFI error, maybe you can try the following...

Step.1) Go to download file the name is bcm4329.ko

Step.2) Unzip the ROM.(Ex. ROMeOS3D_v110_signed.zip <-- unzip this)

Step.3) Put the file bcm4329.ko to system/lib/modules

Step.4) ReZip all file again

Step.5) Flash the ROM and wifi working

If your HBoot Version is 1.49.0011 or 1.49.0012 and you install the ROM on XDA EVO 3D GSM ROMs have WIFI error, maybe you can try the following...

Step.1) Go to download file the name is bcm4329.ko

Step.2) Unzip the ROM.(Ex. ROMeOS3D_v110_signed.zip <-- unzip this)

Step.3) Put the file bcm4329.ko to system/lib/modules

Step.4) ReZip all file again

Step.5) Flash the ROM and wifi working

I Tried this method on LeeDroid v2. CWM showed, opening package , extracting packing and when it stated installing package, the next moment it says unable to install. Must I use specific zipping software or parameters to rezip?

Use 7zip. And you can just drag'n'drop the file in it's location in the rom zip, no need for unpacking/repacking.

Smashed with my AceSMod007 loaded HTC Desire.

I have same problem, WiFi error. I flash with WiFi_Modules_TWN_1239215_signed.zip,problem still exist

Edit: i wipe everything, reflash the rom..reflash WiFi_Modules_TWN_1239215_signed.zip, still not work...anyone can help?..thanks

Hai catseyestw....my HBoot Version is 1.49.0011, S-On [HTC Unlock method] + Revolutionary shutteru CWM recovery cwm-4.0.1.4-shooteru.img. But I've never tried using your manual step 1-5, i try to use 7zip but can't directly copy the files bcm4329.ko into system/lib/modules inside rom_signed.zip

- Right Click Rom file
- Choice 7-Zip/Open archive
- Drag and drop (not copy, paste) bcm4329.ko override in to system/lib/modules
- Close archive windows
- Copy rom to SD card and flash

2. Or use Root Explorer
-You can flash rom
- Use Root explorer copy and paste override bcm4329.ko in to system/lib/modules then set Permissions.
- Off/on Wifi again

hi everyone ... after I flash with various rom, finally only one rooted room today who can turn on my wifi. And this is rooted Downlaod from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1237276 4th post

Can you upload the bcm4329.ko file here please so i dont have to download the whole rom and my Computer is broken so it would be easyer to just download the file and replace it with the one in my rom.
