OK man, I'll give it a shot probably tomorrow sometime, I have a massive headache right now. Don't you hate those? Lol

Were you able to figure anything out with the other zip?
No new ideas/crazy-random-guesses with the no wipe. However, most people will be using this before they download stuff, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue, though it would be nice.

Using timmytim stock, unrooted using SuperSU, flashed stock recovery from Flashify/TWRP, correct?

well rct still loves to tell me no but now i get the error 0x1111002 do u know what that means?
It's the error I've always gotten when trying to update after unrooting. I think it means something in the system is still modified. Try googling? That's where I found that out, I think. Maybe it was a guess? I forget. Anyway try googling.

Hey everyone,

I believe my v410 is on 5.0.2 and I was wondering if this downgrade method is still valid and if there have been any updates / improvements to this.

Also, if I follow this method what OS / ROM will I be left with on my v410? One of the reasons I've been on the stock OS is because I've heard some people say it's pretty stable compared to the other ROMs out there.

Thanks! :)

It should work fine. What do you mean by improvements? If you look back I have made some zips to help simplify it, but that's about it because the OP has been updated with everything else.
You will end up with whatever ROM you flash, which can be any v410 ROM. There is a stock ROM for KitKat, which you can use, but as @williambright80 said, there is no stock Lollipop ROM. I'm currently using LineageOS 14.1, and it seems stable, so I'm not sure what that is about.

Thanks guys,
@PorygonZRocks I checked out the latest couple pages and saw you posted some files, so I'll look into those before I attempt this.

In regards to the ROM question, I just wasn't sure what's out there. If stock KitKat is an option it isn't much of a "downgrade" from what I'm on now, but if something newer and stable is available (like LOS) that might be worth the upgrade.

Thanks! :)

Ah, sorry, didn't realize how many pages of testing there were :)
If you wait a few, I'm putting together a guide for using the zips (as well as reattaching them to simplify stuff). It's a lot simpler than the OP.

Guide for Windows using my zip (based off the OP):

Downloads:

Instructions:
  1. Extract all of the archives.
  2. Install the LG Drivers.
  3. Move the KDZ to the LG Flash Tool 2014 folder.
  4. Put the tablet into Download Mode by powering it off, holding VolUp, and plugging in to the computer. Press VolUP when instructed.
  5. Run LGFlashTool2014.exe, select the KDZ file, choose "CSE Flash", press "Start", select "English" (if you want English), and click OK.
  6. WAIT for the flash to continue. If you really want to brick your device, here's a good opportunity.
  7. The device will reboot into Android 4.4.2. You will only have 4GB of internal storage at this point. DON'T PANIC! We are fixing it.
  8. Enable USB debugging and connect the device.
  9. Install and run LG One Click Root.
  10. Copy the Rashr APK, TWRP image, and ROM to your device.
  11. Install Rashr, flash the bumped TWRP to the recovery partition, and reboot into it.
  12. Flash your ROM.
  13. Flash v410-fixes-signed.zip from this post.
  14. (OPTIONAL) Flash the updated TWRP.
  15. Enjoy your tablet, and be sure to thank all the credits!

Credits (please thank them all!):

If there is any issue with the zip, here are the separate ones (flash the storage fix LAST): storage fix and white lines fix.
