I keep getting stuck during the bootloader unlock portion. After the fastboot identifier token, when I paste the text in...I get a bunch of errors, "not recognized", etc...

well...it says this:

"We're sorry, but it appears your attempt to unlock the bootloader on this device has failed. This could be caused by several factors including simple errors in the entry of the unlock token, problems with your device, or a lack of manufacturer support for the unlocking process. Please see the specific error code listed below, and try again if necessary.
Error Code: Invalid Bootloader Token Length.
Error Reason: The submitted Token appears to be the wrong length and won't work."

I am running into snag on the HTC site, it is not giving me the token ID ... just takes me to a blank screen. I've tried with Internet Explorer and Chrome. Anybody else hearing of issues?
There have been a lot of reports of that happening PM me you token and I'll submit it for you :D

Nah it's hit or miss for some folks
I just got into some trouble ... anybody available for support?

Thanks to BigDaddy, I was able to unlock bootloader.

But, next step says to restart phone, holding vol down & power. Rather than returning to bootloader, it rebooted the phone, and has me stuck at:

"Decrypt Storage"

"Type password to decrypt storage"

I cannot do anything with my phone.

Help?

Nope, never encrypted ... but I bought it used ... so ?????

Is there any other way to trip into bootloader?

H
In the cmd window type adb reboot bootloader
If that doesn't work, while it's booting hold the vol down button and it should take you to bootloader

OK, this is jacked up.

I was able to access bootloader. I am offially unlocked, w/ TWRP installed.

However, it still boots me up to the locked, decrypt screen.

Do you think if I wipe the system and start from fresh load, it would be ok?

Or, should I just flash new ROM and be done?

I would try flashing a rom before you wipe your sdcard
When you wipe before flashing choose Wipe/Advance Wipe and check the boxes next to cache/dalvik cache/system/data then flash the rom
