Exists yes how to put recovery.img for SP Flash . But you should only select the option recovery and when selecting it, it has to be with phone OFF and NOT A BATTERY.

bro i have selected only recovery.img for CwM about 6MB in size and pressed download then connected my phone in switched of state
then sp flash tool shows connected pre loader via com 3/4 then red ribbon completes to 100% after that its not going to yellow bar .

ERROR 8100 Cant Find Usb Port
Suggestions by sptool
1. leak of usb
2. press crtl+alt+t to enable runtime trace mode

Followed all steps tried different usb in different ports enabled trace mode but nothing happens .

i m depressed a lot cant find my way out to root JB cynus t2 Hands up selling canvas 2 if not goi it rooted.

i m wrong in only one step i.e drivers and can be solved in seconds if some one rightly guide me.

I tried pd net driver installing shows adb n preloader MT65xx drivers also installed .
tried other os i.e win 7 result the same .

help dude if from india please give me ur contact number if not then plz help me

Try some other Version of SP tool,maybe a updated one...If you want i will give link,,

i ve used this one tool of spflash not working its not with me but with some more micromax canvas 2 users ...

going to search some other way out

latest trying to install fastboot on windows may it bring some better results

i tried other versions no 1 is helping waiting for its new update..........

Before Proceeding download this file..

Ok Lets Start..

1)Install Drivers.

2)Open SP tool
View attachment 1762843

3)Select 'Android Scatter file' inside ROM folder.

4)Now Shut_Down Canvas 2.

5)Click Firmware_Upgrade Button.

6)Connect Phone{Switched off} to PC via USB Cable.

7)If everythings right,Flashing will proceed..

8)Wait till It finishes..A green ring is displayed on completion..

9)Now Close SP tool..Remove Phone from PC..

10)Switch ON the phone...It is successfully Flashed...



Note:I am not responsible for Mistakes and Bricked Devices...And dont flash ROM that arent made for A110 unless confirmed by others...

Dark4Droid My one simple question to you is it possible to flash recovery.img to Canvas 2 without a root
As flashing the recovery requires root access either thats by mobile uncle or sptool and our devices dont have root access.

has any one tried this flashing tool on canvass 2 or its just a rumor

As my device dont have root access thats y its not going to download mode.

Recovery.img can be flashed through SP tools....No root access needed....I am using it like that to test ROMs...

When i followed this step using sptool after red line its not going forward waited for10 minutes
but no errors is shown n an unknown device is shown in device manager
phone was not responding so i removed battery n then it stared,working but no CWM installed

Any suggestions

You have a right click (picture 1) property/settings and change driver in you PC of the phone.

example: MediaTek DA USB VCOM driver for MT6577
After install automaticly ADB drives.
After this a yellow symbol go out.

Sorry if I'm interrupting. But I've used SP Flash and flash many ROM's for my device. I not have your device, but only that the process is always the same.
However, I ask Dark4Droid: Why do the "5) Click Firmware_Upgrade Button"?
I ask this because I did not have to perform this action/option.

Some have SP Flash folder containing drivers (InstallDriver.exe), but also need to reinstall the driver folder ADB (android_winusb.inf).

Bro when i click to update drivers for unknown device automatically, it says encounter a problem
when i pressed manually n browsed under mobistel folder where drivers are installed, it shows windows cant install drivers for mobistel cynus t2 da usb vcom because the drivers are not digitally signed.......

You must log on as administrator or as a member of the Administrators group to complete this procedure. Everything should be made as administrator of the PC.
Make sure the UAC (User Account Control) is enabled. Or left-click on the driver file and select "Run as ...". A option appears that asks for your administrator password.
Another way is you find in configurations PC menu appears in the menu and choose " Disable mandatory driver signing checks" .

Dude you are life saver

By enabling UAC n by disabling Driver signature in Win 8

Some how i was unable to download the recover.img flash tool was giving an error

But by firmware-upgrade my phone got updated to official Ics state n later i downloaded recovery.img
