Thats dependent on the rom.
btw no bug founded in stock jb rom.

Newbie basically this is the process to get CWM and to root cynus T2 stock rom by installing super su n recovery.img by Sptool.
For this process no root access required as this is the process to get the device rooted and to install CWM recovery on unrooted
cynus T2 stock rom running on canvas 2 via spflash tool.
I think its clear now .

Error

when i am trying to flash my phone with the flash tool it is giving me an error saying " THE DA FILE WAS NOT SENT TO THE FLASH TOOL" , it came after 22 sec of the process in red progress line... this was actually the second time i tried to do it, the first time the process stopped at 1 sec itself saying some error that i forgot so what did i do wrong? and what does this error mean?

Solution

This error is due to following reasons

1. The mobistel cynus t2 Da preloader drivers are not installed properly.
2. The image you are trying to flash is not correct
3. The version of flash tool you are using doesn't allow the image to flash on the phone.

i guess its the same issue, well the divers was the first i doubted on and i guess the image might also be curropt, wll thanx and will look into it and also reply if any furthern issues faced...

EDIT - is it the reason that i did not upgrade my original ICS to v2 stock rom earlier ( embarrassed to even ask )

A110 switched off

I had installed Cynus T2 Jelly Bean v15 ROM. Wanted to Root and Upgrade to Cynus T2 Jelly Bean v17 ROM.
My A110 is dead while trying to flash recovery file with stock rom.
SP tool error 4040.
Not able to switch on the phone. Tried removing and placing battery multiple times.

Please Help.

wel this phone got a bootloop while trying the sp tool.
the 4050 error is for not properly flashing the recovery
i think the phone has got a soft brick.

hUM do one thing place the battery n charge it for an hour .
after that connect the phone with pc and see weather the device is detected in device manager or not
u can see under ports u can find mobistel cynus t2 da vcom drivers if there its present then there is a chance to got it recover

other wise u have to go for micromax service center.

Hint: i have many times try to install recover.img using sptool. Many times got error 4050 but my phone got restarted,
when i tried to reinsert the battery and working for me.
In ur case its something wrong..

Thanks for ur reply.
I have charged the phone for some time.
connected to pc, Device Manager shows PORTS -- USB Single Port (COM19). No yellow mark.
When i run SP tools, click firmware upgrade;
BROM ERROR : S_COM_PORT_OPEN_FAIL (1013)
COM Failed to open COM19

I have WIN 8 64 Bit. Followed ur instruction. Disabled Driver Signature.
When i restart and disable driver signature; SP Tool says

BROM ERROR : S_FT_DA_NO_RESPONSE (4001)
and Red Bar is completed 100%

Remember the second step u have to uninstall all the mobostel driver n on the option disable drivers enforcement signature n then install it again in option 7 there in red box press install drivers anyways 3 times it may be helpful

Uninstalled mobistel drivers.
selected "Disable Driver Enforemnet Signature"

BROM ERROR : S_DA_SOC_CHECK_FAIL (3013)
USER SOC verification fail
and Red Bar is completed 100%
Mobile not started.

No Drivers are installed.
Device Manager :: Unknown Device [yellow mark]

For this select scatter file for the orignal stock rom where i have provided the link.
Tick all option. Remember all options.
Press firmware->upgrade connect ur phone to switch of mode
remember battery must be charged.
if it did the trick enjoy other wise go to MCCX service center .
Dont tel them u have bricked ur device but tel them only phone is not responding .

Phone is not switching ON. Its completely off. Battery charging is also not happening and boot icon and wait icon for charging screen also not seen.

I'm stuck on SP Tool doing nothing when i connect my phone to PC, the status at the bottom says "searching"
Am i missing something? I'm on mmx stock ICS rom with no mods whats so ever, phone is not rooted either.

Now with all Custom ROM's,its important to know how to flash a phone through PC..

It Comes in handy when a device gets a bootloop and also when its bricked....So follow this Tutorial and Flash your Phones Successfully:cyclops:

Before Proceeding download this file..



Ok Lets Start..

1)Install Drivers.

2)Open SP tool
View attachment 1762843

3)Select 'Android Scatter file' inside ROM folder.

4)Now Shut_Down Canvas 2.

5)Click Firmware_Upgrade Button.

6)Connect Phone{Switched off} to PC via USB Cable.

7)If everythings right,Flashing will proceed..

8)Wait till It finishes..A green ring is displayed on completion..

9)Now Close SP tool..Remove Phone from PC..

10)Switch ON the phone...It is successfully Flashed...



Note:I am not responsible for Mistakes and Bricked Devices...And dont flash ROM that arent made for A110 unless confirmed by others...

dont tel them about what u did just tell a lie that its not responding
I think it will be repaired free of cost as its a boot loop

This issue can be Solved by using another version of SP tools....The updated link of SP tool may help ....

Gps Issue.. 1200 meters inaccurate

First of all Let me thank Micromax , Xda forums and Sam for arranging this simple setup that let me flash my A110 MMx v2 to Jellybean 4.1.1 V3 so fast and easy..
I didn't use the download provided by Vijeta as i had already installed the drivers and SP flash tool and ROM has been upgraded to higher versions.
It flashed easy safe and complete all done in like max 5 mins.. legally & officially .
My earlier attempts with CWM recovery for getting the unofficial ROMs by rooting ended with my phone just ending up booting in stock recovery mode & the SP flash tutorial for the unofficial ROM had mismatching Scatter filenames so I gave up after 3attempts. Didnt want to risk bricking the phone .
For those facing problems i suggest installing pdanet drivers beforehand and following the tutorial
I reduced the brightness setting a tad bit to compensate for higher battery consumption and it makes no difference for me now as compared to earlier battery consumption.
Not very noticeable improvements except for more responsive screen, Google Now and few new features but I am loving it.

However, with everything being perfect mazaa kaise aata? so i am facing GPS inaccuracy by like 1200 meters.. and it was perfect just before the jellybean upgrade on ICS.

I use GPS a lot and so do the apps I use the most.
Have i done something wrong here or is it the problem with the JB V3 ROM.
Jellybean isnt easy to root and I dont want to mess a fresh installation of the new ROM . Can anyone help me fix my GPS here?

Bro,Binary root tool wont work...If you can make sure there is no thread avavilable for Rooting JEllybean on A110....I will make one...
