What is the latest version of firmware for this device? I rooted my device and I don't think I am getting any updates any more. I once saw a notification, download odd 300 MB of file but that never got installed. Now I don't even see any update notification.

very easy just conact your phone to pc use file Download_with_partition from the link
than wait to finsh flashing
but first instal the driver and use usb debugging

So i downloaded RUU (or how it is called ? ) that reversed me to stock, after that i applied OTA to android 5.1.1, and then try to root again, but i was unable.
When you are going to support 5.1.1 root , since i want to delete system apps i don't need

Any one know how to solve it ? Damn, due to small community of Phab Plus, it look like no one will help me....

that's not bricked but "soft bricked" you can still restore that. just follow the instructions on this site:

Thank you for your support But it was not that easy, phone will not go into upgrade mode ( i mean, nothing is detected over USB )

did you install the correct drivers? if you phone is still turning on then it is only soft brick

HSUSB USB COM Drivers link is down, so i installed http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/migr-69999 drivers.
Problem is, where is any sound of any device been pluged in into my computer, and nothing show up, not even unknown device !

I will try many times to repeat this process step by step, but it looks like the only option is stock update.zip , but where to find it ?

if someone is having difficulties rooting 5.1.1 or getting an error in temp twrp when flashing permenant twrp, go to fastboot mode and at command prompt write fastboot oem unlock
it will unlock your bootloader and then you can flash it swiftly.

Ok, trick was to hold VOL+ and VOL- at the same time while connecting tablet to USB.

So i try to flash it by using QFIL program. it started to work, and then fail

Yes my friend, same thing happended to me.

what i did i went to claim the warranty, and in 10 days i got my devices fixed by the lenovo team.

i am 100 percent sure that your device should be in warranty. if not, lets begin the fixation. but i will suggest if it is in warranty go ahead an claim it.

Ha! Somehow one time it just flashed with no errors, and rebooted to android, all problems are gone Happy days, don't know it worked this time ( changed usb slot on notebook ,,,)

Evrything is working fine {but failed remote device is locked. cannot flash images}

The error is because your bootloader is locked, for solition Connect device in fastboot mode, then run

Fastboot oem unlock

And now your are good to go

I know this might not be a smart question, but how do i access the fastboot mode?

U can try this :

1. Set up ADB and Fastboot on your computer. You can download the full Android SDK from here, or get the quick ADB and fastboot installer from*here. For Mac or Linux OS, click*here.

2. Install USB Drivers on your computer.

Installation Instructions

Make sure you have setup ADB and fastboot on your PC. Also accept Always allow from this computer when you plug in the device for first time to enable USB Debugging.

Now connect your device to PC and accept the RSA Authentication prompt. Now open a command prompt or terminal window. Do this by holding shift key on your keyboard and right-click on an empty space and select “Open command window here” option to launch a command prompt window. Verify connectivity issuing the following command in cmd:
adb devices

Boot into the bootloader or fastboot mode. To do so, you can also issue the following code, while connected to the PC.
adb reboot bootloader

Now, as the Phab Plus isn’t recognized as a fastboot device, you will have to specify the OEM id. It is 0x2b4c meaning, any fastboot command must be suffixed with the following code.
-i 0x2b4c

Now this is important. We will proceed to unlock the bootloader. To do this, issue the following command.*

Fastboot oem unlock

It should say okay....
