Android 4.3 Easyrooting toolkit on 10.4.1.B.0.101 Sony C6603

Hi,

My first post on XDA, ...twas inevitable. Apologies if this isn't exactly in the right spot but here we go.

Easyrooting toolkit worked perfect for me on Xperia Z at 4.2.2. and of cause lost root when upgraded to 4.3. (Which I like its improvements).
So I am ready to do it again, but steady she goes, by the looks must have the right version of Doomlords awesome toolkit first. From what I can see after doing much searching, is that V18 is the latest version and it seems to be for version 10.3.1.A.2.67 So the question is, either the version I need for my 10.4.1.B.0.101 build, is out there and I can't find it, or one of the previous versions will work on it like V18 and I need confirmation, or I simply need to wait for say V19, which possibly would cover it.

Does anyone have any info on this as I would muchly apperciate it?

Thankx

Are you on 4.3?
yes
seems like it's the bootloader issue that was mentioned in this post...
problem is, to unlock bootloader, i will lost all data on my phone
but i wanted to root my phone to restore photos which i accidentally delete :crying: (on internal SD storage)
been trying many method online, but no luck so far...
can not read internal storage as mass storage :crying:
seems like rooting the phone is my only chance?

any suggestions?
because those photos are very very important

Need Root?

Hello..

I have tried the first method but in vain..it says Failed.. Reason: Need Root

Please assist

Thanks in advance
I've posted this in a couple of other threads but I've recently discovered vroot. Google it, see what others have to say about it. I downloaded the English version of course. It's comparable to Doomlords method I believe & it really works, fast I might add. I've got a Xperia Z C6606, locked bootloader. Can't flash custom ROM's but can modify phone with Xposed Modules.

WARNING: Only works with firmwares under 4.3!
Since Kingo has now replied and the IMEI issues have been resolved, here is my tutorial on how to get root privileges on your Xperia Z safely and even more important easily! No need to worry about bricking now ;) I will also post an alternative method that is just as easy!

So, here we go:
1. Download this file here: http://goo.gl/AIUANa
2. Install it on your computer (you can remove it later)
3. Open the installed program
4. Connect the phone to the computer
5. Go in settings and in developer options and then enable USB debugging
6. Click on ROOT!
7. The phone will now reboot, ROOTED! You are welcome! Please thanks if it helped!

Alternative method(10% more difficult). The only problem is that this is chinese language, so you have to click the exact buttons I tell you.

1. Download this file: http://goo.gl/U6Jwaf
2. Install the software, using the installation buttons as you would on any other windows installation.
3. When you have installed it, you will see a green button, press it. Then connect your phone on USB debugging mode.
4. When the phone is connected the software will recognise the phone and the green button will show "ROOT", click on it.
5. The phone is going to be rooted in some seconds and the process is finished when it will show a tick on the software.
6. The phone will reboot.
7. When it is rebooted, go to google play and download super su.
8. Open super su and it will ask you to update the binaries, and you must click on update, and then normal.
9. A window in chinese will pop up on the phone, this is the screen that allows you to give root permissions to any app. You must click the button on the right.
10. You are done! Root process is complete!
11. This is the most important step. Leave a thanks! If you liked the tutorial, please show it to me!
