@XxLordxX

I have the custom ROM as well as the Team EOS 4 custom ROM. I flashed the Team EOS 4 ROM, but is the wiping of userdata, cache, and dalvic cache essential? Because if so, then I need to do that as well.

Other than flashing a ROM, I think we have my Xoom un-bricked!

So, please get back with me ASAP with what to do/try! Because if possible I would like to have my Xoom operational by Sunday morning when I leave on a week long trip!

Thanks a lot for your help and adding me on G+!

Yes, you have to wipe your data and all, I recommes you using TWRP. Hope this fixes up everything ;).

Good luck,
~Lord

Hey @XxLordxX

On the road to leave. Check Hangouts to see what I did.

The best I can figure is that I need an ICS ROM, because the EOS ROM is to advanced for Taimat recovery.

Gtg for a week!!!

If you can, please find me an ICS grade/level ROM.

Follow the instructions

To anyone who has this particular issue that is listed in the start of the post (and not the topic-jack at the end... :S)

I struggled with this issue for about 2 days, trying to get out of a soft brick and want to share some things that may not be THAT obvious, and a few that are, but bear mentioning.

I found myself in a place where if left alone, the Xoom would boot to the RSD Mode 3 screen - if I tried to get to recovery mode with the reboot vol- combo, I couldn't. All I could get to is a Motorola logo screen and nothing further would happen. I couldn't actually get into an interactive recovery mode at all to do any wiping or flashing.

Don't despair - I found that I could actually interact with the Xoom using fastboot when it was at this Motorola logo stage. At this point, I followed the instructions in the OP and managed to restore my Xoom boot image, and recovery image.

One thing to note (the obvious thing) - the instructions indicate to download the LordAIOTool and use fastboot from within that tool. I made the mistake of thinking that "fastboot is fastboot" and was using the fastboot from my Google devkit or Linux box. I battled for a few days using regular fastboot and the instructions and for some reason it didn't work. When I used the fastboot tool as recommended from within the download I had instant success.

On a related note, the fastboot binary wasn't in the "tools" folder as the instructions indicate, I found it in the "bin" folder.

So some obvious, some not, but I think worth mentioning - I hope this helps others who think they have bricked their Xoom when they get the RSD Mode 3 screen when trying to BigPart partition their Xoom. Good news is that you can fix it with some patience and following the instructions.

Thanks to the OP for the guide.

I need help.
I have an XOOM MZ605 that I installed an OMNI ROM.
For some mistake I must have deleted the Android operating system.
Now starting the first image is telling you:
"encryption unsuccessful error"
"RESET"

When I choose "RESET" I wait a long time until I open the TWRP recovery application v2.6.3.0 TEAMWIN
The image prompts: "Please enter your password"
As I do not have the password I choose "CANCEL.

The tablet is with BigPart that accommodated ROM OMNI.

Now I do not know what to do because TWRP does not let me do formatting operations without this password.

Can anyone help me to resolve and re-install the operating system?
