I'm using this rom because it has the best battery life and it has the call settings , i was wondering if there is a way to get CALL Settings like of ICS in Your Alliance JB Rom ?
I want the call waiting , call forwarding settings , is it available ?

And what about the update that i'm receiving?
Should i update ?

i dont know exactly, perhaps these settings are placed to another location? settings of the dialer apk?

i use this rom because of the battery backup compared with TW JB. a rom update with new mods would be great if possible thx anyway for this version of the rom!

Are you Robbie? The guy whom you replied to was asking robbie on april.and this rom has been dead since november 4. Its quite weird that you had just bumped an old thread and thanked robbie who now might already forgot about this thread. Maybe you are just bored. Next time just press the thanks button below his posts and leave old threads untouched

robbie told of his own accord that he can maybe update this rom. so he didn't forget this thread completely. just wanted to say that this rom is NOT dead and it could worth the effort although here is not a lot going on.
sorry, didnt know that it is forbidden to touch old threads and thank you that it is your job to rebuke people. perhaps next time you dont need to read threads that you are not interested in.

This is my first time trying an ICS rom because when I had my Note its already JB leaks time so never had time to install 4.0.4 UNTIL YESTERDAY and found out that this one is very very very good on battery, mods,theming, and performance. I mean EVERYTHING THAT I COULD ASK FOR IS IN THIS ROM. :thumbup:

Nobody is going to flame you for wanting to run older firmware.
You are not the first and certainly not the last to say that ics behaves much better on the n7000 then jb.
Some people just like ti stay up to date with samsubg releases.
Thus my attention goes to these newer builds.
Support for this ics rom is near to nill sorry to say.

any solution that u can share to me ? i had tried many ways to fix it ... but still the same ...
when my phone run JB 4.1.2 ,it will freeze ramdomly ...

maybe a stupid question but ive never done it before. Is it safe to to downgrade from JB to Alliance ICs Rom from any
of philz kernels or will i have to flash an ICS kernel first?
Getting fed up of over bloated laggy JB and try ICS.

today i downgraded from energy bean to this ROM
i was on speedmod latest jellybean kernel.... made all wipes + format for cache, system, data & preload
runnig perfectly & definitely better than anything based on jellybean

Robbie, I already have your rom and this one is amazing master piece of yours....... Just wanna ask any way to get V2.1 theme on your Alliance Ics final ??? Love the way the keyboard is themed Btw i tried downloading it from the dropbox, Your new rom but download speed was way low...... So I'm gonna try it other time !! Downgrading to Ics coz with notecore it flies !!!

My device was running Chrack XXLRQ v16 Final custom Ice Cream Sandwich firmware, before I decided to try AllianceROM v2.1. I performed a full backup via Titanium Backup Pro, and then flashed the said firmware via custom recovery (ClockworkMod). The entire process completed smoothly.

The only issue was, after I restored the green coloured entries in Titanium Backup Pro, the Contacts, Messaging, Phone apps began force closing. I did not restore any system app and or data. How can I fix the said issue and retain my contacts, messages, etc., on AllianceROM v2.1?


What are the green coloured entries known as? I am aware the red coloured entries are classified as system.

For now, I have reverted back to Chrack XXLRQ v16 Final, and have successfully restored my preferences.
