I was, yes.
I went back into recovery from Beans' rom this time. Wiped Data/wiped cache/wiped dalvick just for fun and flashed. We're good to go.

I did nothing different, except that I was coming from a 4.2.2 rom before (carbon) Anyways... I'm here! Thanks!
I'm going to guess it was a kernel problem then. You were on an AOSP kernel with a TW ROM.

This is probably just a "me" thing. I tried to change the notification in the default mail app to anything other than default and it changes to the postman notification and wont change back no matter what I do.

By volume, do you mean: /system/etc/default_gain.conf
No. Turn the media volume up to something >50%. Plug in the headphones and be annoyed that the volume was turned down to 50%. I think between dwitherell and I, we've hacked everything out in smali to prevent it from happening, but it still does. Going to keep looking though to see if it can be fixed.

imnuts, I want to thank you very much for putting this out there for us. I just want to say, that I agree with your philosophy about zip roms from the general section. With that being said, what sets apart this rom from other zip roms?

I mean that in a serious way and I mean no disrespect at all. I am just curious about your thoughts.

Thanks!

Re: [ROM][TW][VRALL4][2-18-13] Tweaked VZW Remix

Is the included kernel better then peanut kernel that you put out earlier today?

He may have more but I'll tell you what it is. TSM parts! You are almost at AOKP customization with it. And the stock theme is quite nice

Re: [ROM][TW][VRALL4][2-18-13] Tweaked VZW Remix

I'm currently on JB B9 like you were. Is It worth switching to this ROM or pretty much the same thing?
Take touchwiz with aokp style options rather than the aroma installer, yeah I like it way better, fast and smooth!

Edit... Comes with swag! Lol

I haven't used any of the other ROMs, so I don't know exactly how it compares. From what I have seen in OPs and change logs though, this is one of the few ROMs that is built on the actual VZW firmware compared to N7100/N7105 firmware. They are fairly similar, but there are minor changes. I also avoid putting in useless things, such as 99% of the "build.prop tweaks" and other things that sound great but don't do anything. The same goes with modifications made, I tried to get it as simple as possible for some things (like disabling icons, removing provisioning for tether, etc.). Run whatever you want, I'm just posting it here for people as another option.

There is no kernel included. It is one of the (very few) things that will go into Aroma once I figure that out.

Thanks bro, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. I have seen "build.prop tweaks" that have actually made ROM's much worse. I am 100% on board with your philosophy. I will give this a try, thanks a lot for posting!
