Thanks Ungaze, basically I have the same files than previous poster, but instead of DT's I have your D2SD files, I have found that changing the name of tweaks file to 99tweaks, it works, however I dont know if this could affect anything else, can you please let me know if I can just keep them like that or should I change it to something else?

I THINK (Since I dont actually know how this works) that maybe having 2 files starting with 00 is an issue in Android 2.3.4? just a theory

Thanks again

well the basic rule is to have a different number for each init script. I don't know the consequences but it is indeed a good idea to change the prefix number to an unoccupied slot. Try to change the number and don't forget to set proper permissions. Changing the numbering won't affect anything unless another script needs to be in line with the script to be moved(either it needs to go before or go after it). In this case, none so rename away!!!!!

did the number has something to do with priority or something like that? let's say my init.d folder has the same content as XLR8_2K...

00banner
00tweaks
01sysctl
02apps2sd
03firstboot
04modules
20userinit
99complete

is it okay if I rename it to 05tweaks instead of 99tweaks? besides, the number 99 was already occupied by 99complete

Using terminal write "mount", if you see more "noatimes" than "relatimes", then it is working for you, if not, just try changing the name of the file.
this is the terminal output after typing mount:

export PATH=/data/local/bin:$PATH
$ export PATH=/data/local/bin:$PATH
$mount
rootfs on / type rootfs (ro,relatime)
tmpfs on /dev type tmpfs (rw,noatime,nodiratime,mode=755)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,noatime,nodiratime,mode=600)
proc on /proc type proc (rw,noatime, nodiratime)
sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw,noatime, nodiratime)
tmpfs on /mnt/asec type tmpfs (rw,noatime,nodiratime,mode=755,gid=1000)
tmpfs on /mnt/obb type tmpfs (rw,noatime,nodiratime,mode=755,gid=1000)

kindly hit the thanks button for me please..hehe..just want the number to be at "5"..I love that number..

Anyway, going back to your request you could try:

# su
# cat proc/sys/vm/min_free_kbytes

If it's at 20480 then it's working...

EDIT..thanks for the likes but now i got "6"..hihi..oh well that all good..thanks
Couple of days ago it was 20480, Flashed new Mik's New rom and now the number is 2767. Does that mean i will have to flash tweak.zip again? and also i installed clockwork mod recovery. Will i be able to flash tweak again?

Yes and yes. The tweak.zip has no problems in clockwork recovery and just flash the zip after updating CM7.

I just went thru the same process and all is well.
