I can boot into download mode but thats about it! Someone please help! Even if someone could log into my computer and fix it remotely ill pay you....

Possibly EMMC failure due to the message at the top.
However, have you attempted to flash with the PIT file?
Device?Hey thanks for the reply! I could not find the PIT file anywhere... could you have find it for me??
But he'd also need compatible files to flash, hope he won't try it with a standard (full) update package, but has one with the 3 separate files for the Odin slots
It's irrelevant. But he'd also need compatible files to flash, hope he won't try it with a standard (full) update package, but has one with the 3 separate files for the Odin slots
Well oké and sorry, learned it different from my Galaxy S1 days, but since that's long ago it might be a overdue habit. It's irrelevant.
The PIT file is just the partition layout.
It matters not how the images are packed.
Guys, I am trying to install TWRP on the latest Samsung firmware (to install LineageOS) but I am having trouble. I can install TWRP with Odin without any issues but it won't start. When I try to boot to recovery the tablet says "could not do normal boot" and goes into download mode. The firmware works otherwise fine, but I just want to get rid of it and install LOS.
It's not the first time that I install a custom firmware on a Samsung tablet but I have never seen this error before.
I tried with two versions of everything: firmware T713XXS2BRI1_T713AUT2BRF1_HOME.tar.md5 & T713XXU2BSA1_T713AUT2BSB1_HOME.tar.md5, TWRP 3.3.1-0 & 3.3.0-0, and Odin 3.13.3 & 3.13.1
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated!
#10Thanks for the correction and your patience, must be looking at things in a daze[emoji14]I have an edited version:
For Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 SM-T813
1Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM unlocking ENABLE OEM UNLOCK
2Put in download mode: turn on by pressing and holding Volume DOWN + Home + Power Key
3Run Odin, connect USB to PC and Tab. ID-Com Box turns blue.
4Click "AP" Button in Odin, Select "twrp_3.0.2-1_sm-t813.tar" on PC.
5Unselect all "Options" except "F. Reset Time".
6Press Start in Odin.
7Wait for ID-COM Box to turn Green; Uncheck Auto-reboot. turn OFF your Tab.
8Boot into TWRP Recovery mode: turn it on by pressing and holding Volume UP + Home + Power Key.
9In TWRP: "Wipe > Format Data" to remove encryption, destroys all user data!
10 Shut Down Tab.
11Copy no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx.zip to SD card in Tab.
12Boot into TWRP Recovery mode: turn it on by pressing and holding Volume UP + Home + Power Key.
13Flash no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx.zip (NOT Image file as in Techbeasts Guide!)
14To Root: Flash "SuperSU.zip" with TWRP as in 11-12.
