Hey guys

I already find way to compile to the latest twrp 3.1.0-3 unofficially, to fix some existing bugs in previous version twrp both official or unofficial, like in prevous twrp, if you try to encrypt your data, you will getting alot trouble or imposible to decrypt and enter and access data user again.

Bug fixs:
Encryption,
Decryption,
Aroma installer,
All are fully working properly

Flash with previous twrp recovery or by fastboot
How to flash:

If you give permission i will use your build kernel in order to get rid cursor

Yes. Feel free to use my custom Kernel. Just give proper credits.

If you ever find out about the _relative_ changes in the previously mentioned _sources_.
Let me know.

I will add those to the official build.
And by sources I mean proper sources.
Not unpacking / replacing some files / repacking the TWRP image. I can't work with that info.

What are the _sources_ of your files you are replacing?
As in from what other device's TWRP do you extract whatever you are copying.

Also its not compiling if its unpacking/replacing/packing. Thats called "porting". Just to make that clear.

One more thing.
Please add "Unofficial" to your main title thread.

I'm working on the Official 3.1.1.0.
So if you can provide the relative changes I mentioned above. I will include them. If not they will be left out.

I have just build TWRP 3.1.1-0 from sources.
I haven't pushed it official yet.

I haven't had time to look into the Nougat changes.
It works on Marshmallow just as the 3.0.3-0.
Nougat is untested. Feel free to test.
Anyway please test it and let me know if you experience any issues.

I just installed, booted it and booted the system: it works.
I'm using the May 23rd aicp build, android 7.1.2

Thank you.

Shouldn't have been to hard how to compile.
I posted an how to on the official GitHub project page.

BTW, please add a link to your GitHub for your build. I have been busy with real life in the last couple of months but once I get some free time I would like to see the code for the "fixes", might even add them to the official TeamWin repo.

Or if you feel like taking over as official maintainer.
    Let me know.

I build TWRP for the Lenovo P2 because I think it deserved a community. And seeing that by now it got it's own subforum and custom ROMs. I'm happy to see it growing. :)

Just enter to twrp recovery mode click install section, click install image section on right bottom side, and navigate to where is twrp img that you already downloaded, and thick button on recovery option (make sure not to choose wong section other than thick recovery button), then flashed, next restart to enter to boot recovery one again.

That's exactly what I did, but didn't work. Guess I'll flash it with fastboot.
