That's right. If you do not flash the encryption disable patch, then Root rights will be, but the memory will be encrypted again and will not be available for TWRP
Thanks,before i got this post i flashed Pie again in Odin,then went through flashing root again.This time i left out the RMM bypass.
I have the T380,and i read in a few posts that the RMM bypass dont work with this model,so here is my flashing procedure.
flashed twrp in oden,and booted to twrp.Formatted Data,and rebooted to twrp.Flashed the patched boot.img to boot partition,flashed Magisk,flashed
encryption disable patch,then wiped Cache and Dalvik,and booted to system...
I was able to mount the data partition and make a twrp backup.Do i really need the RMM bypass? everything seems to be working fine so far..
