It seems to me that making it possible to do risky things while you are not in a position to fix it is actually an anti-feature.

Thanks for your concern but we've been doing fine for about 10 years it's not a must-have anymore but it's NOT an anti-feature.

Everyone has their own appetite for risk or not. Those who want to flash whilst being away from a computer will be able to do so with TWRP once it is release for A12 and this phone.

And TWRP is multi-function. I just felt a hell of a lot safer when it gave me an easy, full nandroid backup/restore.

Absolutely. I'm sure it's only a matter of time. As far as how much time, I'm not a betting man. ADB/FastBoot and Magisk are fine for me right now.
