OnePlus 3
OnePlus 6T
Keeping in mind that this method does not work if a device is a 'carrier version' of OnePlus e.g. Verizon branded, T-Mobile branded, etc. as those version do not allow 'local upgrade' due to carrier restrictions.

Only Global versions and other non-carrier versions are allowed local upgrading.
I never owned a carrier version. Always been SIM unlocked owner, so I didn't know

I have the OnePlus 8 Pro, is there any way to decrypt it with TWRP? When I've tried to decrypt in the past it would say something about FBE device, and boot encrypted. Sorry if this has already been asked and thanks in advance.

What are you asking? If you're asking about data decryption, it obviously does that. If you're talking about file based encryption to where your full phone will show up as decrypted in android settings, this is impossible on 8 pro

Mother of all questions: If TWRP is flashed, does the OOS OTA work or we need restore stock recovery first?

My guess is that we need to restore first because OOS does not know anything about TWRP when trying to install some things that can only be installed from recovery for OTA.

You can always flash the full ROM in twrp. I have never tried flashing an ota in twrp, but you can download the full update and flash instead

    I can confirm that it does work on oneplus 8. I'm currently using it and, running the Jaguar rom, and rooted right now on my phone. I posted in the Jaguar thread on how to get twrp, Magisk, rom going in that thread. Using rom recoveries is an option, not the only option though.

    flash lineageos recovery, apply update, adb sideload "magisk.zip"

    Jaguar is a corrupt pos on the 8 pro. Constantly new versions boot in crash dump or blurry pixalated screen and especially won't boot if twrp is being used. Los recovery is the more stable choice, twrp functions are last I tested still in progress.

    TWRP for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro

    TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers, and zulip-chat.

    A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom "ROM".

    Team Win strives to provide a quality product. However, it is your decision to install our software on your device. Team Win takes no responsibility for any damage that may occur from installing or using TWRP.

    Code:
    #include

    /*
    *
    * Yea, though I walk through the valleys of c++ and java, of the shadow of death on these forums,
    * I will fear no evil and i will develop and code restless: for thou art with me and my keyboard;
    * thy rod and thy staff they comfort me, and my mouse..
    *
    */

    A12 support is still a WIP, but most things are working, A12 is all new, keep that in mind.

    WORKING:
    Decryption
    ADB Sideload
    Format Data
    Flashing zips (kernels and ROM's)
    Backup/Restore
    MTP is working
    adb is working
    vibration
    stock firmware flashing
    OTG

    NOT WORKING
    wip
