All over like street lights
because it dont work, use rom recoveries
I can confirm that it does work on my oneplus 8. I'm using the Jaguar rom.

I can confirm that it does work on oneplus 8. I'm currently using it and, running the Jaguar rom, and rooted right now on my phone. I posted in the Jaguar thread on how to get twrp, Magisk, rom going in that thread. Using rom recoveries is an option, not the only option though.

Jaguar is a corrupt pos on the 8 pro. Constantly new versions boot in crash dump or blurry pixalated screen and especially won't boot if twrp is being used. Los recovery is the more stable choice, twrp functions are last I tested still in progress.

whenever i install any zip wether it's a rom or a magisk file,it says something about inactive slots.
Could you be more specific as to the error and/or message about 'inactive slots' [preferably a screenshot]?
-- Which method did you utilize to install TWRP?
-- If you are indeed on Android 12+ [not compatible]

Well I am on android 12 soo no need to fuss.it just sucks remembering the old days where we could flash roms and everything through custom recovery without even loosing data.it gives me a headache now to make data backup first then install any rom.

Possibly because the creator has a 8 and, not the pro. Works excellent on the 8 that I have using twrp recovery. This has been the rom I have been using since I tried Android 12 when first released for a week and, realized that it sucked (in my opinion only)

But twrp-op8-3.6.0_11-infected-b2.img inside the zip is the latest one available?

Only the provided flashable zip from infected is more current. Besides that you can just replace the image inside with any *.img Recovery image you want to.
@infected_ Is it safe to say that I can just replace the recovery.img file within the Magisk flashable zip with the latest twrp-3.6.2_11-0-instantnoodle.img and flash away?

    Yes 👍

    After flashing it says
    The current image(boot/recovery) have been destroyed and cannot boot.
    There are 2 methods; the second method requires you to wipe all the data on your device, but will surely fix this issue. On the other hand, the first method doesn’t require a data wipe but the success rate isn’t as good as the second method.

    [2nd Method] Locate your firmware’s IMG files boot.img, system.img, vbmeta.img and vendor.img and flash via fastboot.

    [1st Method] This fix requires to flash VBMeta file.

    Code:
    fastboot flash --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img

    or

    fastboot --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img

    fastboot reboot

    TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers, and zulip-chat.

    A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom "ROM".

    Team Win strives to provide a quality product. However, it is your decision to install our software on your device. Team Win takes no responsibility for any damage that may occur from installing or using TWRP.

    Code:
    #include

    /*
    *
    * Yea, though I walk through the valleys of c++ and java, of the shadow of death on these forums,
    * I will fear no evil and i will develop and code restless: for thou art with me and my keyboard;
    * thy rod and thy staff they comfort me, and my mouse..
    *
    */

    A12 support is still a WIP, but most things are working, A12 is all new, keep that in mind.

    WORKING:
    Decryption
    ADB Sideload
    Format Data
    Flashing zips (kernels and ROM's)
    Backup/Restore
    MTP is working
    adb is working
    vibration
    stock firmware flashing
    OTG

    NOT WORKING
