While searching the web, I can see that this message tells you that you are using a wrong version of TWRP.
They said, first flash the latest nougat (from xperifirm), boot the phone to the end, shut it down, and then retry to flash the latest TWRP.

I updated the firmware with flashtool and xperifirm. I could finally install TWRP 3.2.1.
I'll sideload lineage os this evening.

I can't boot into system after using TWRP.
I flashed TWRP recovery_suzuran_230218.img and whatever I do in recovery, when booting into system, all that happens is the Sony boot screen and the only way I got out of there was by using the OFF button next to the SIM card slot.
Is this a problem with the file or am I doing something wrong?

Have you read my post #119 (They said, first flash the latest nougat (from xperifirm), boot the phone to the end, shut it down, and then retry to flash the latest TWRP.)?

Have you flashed TWRP in this way:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery_suzuran_230218.img
?

Just downloaded the firmware and compared it to the version I'm using; it's exactly the same; bit by bit.
So, it MUST work...

Okay. Well, now I flashed an older version of TWRP and LineageOS and everything works (except the USB OTG, but that's for another thread...).

And yes, that's how I flashed the recovery.

I really don't know. Maybe if you're enabling logging? And I also don't know what version I'm using; but on my harddrive I can only find the version from 23th february 2018; so, I'm assuming, I'm using this version...

Yeah, that's the problem with me, I have a bunch of different versions on my hard drive and I don't remember which one I flashed. Additionally, some of them got renamed. :(

Hi, i use my Z5C with encryption enabled and am looking to update LOS at some point, are there any plans for encryption in the future or any help you may need?

Kind regards

@trax7 Can you give me some initial pointers for working on the decryption? I would like to try and get it working.

    THANK YOU!!!!
You mean 2018 and not 2017.
Yes... xD I am going insane from all the stuff I have to do rn lol :silly::silly:

In the latest two builds SD card access is broken again (or at least I can't access it). Reverting to recovery_suzuran-130218.img SD card access works again.
I saw what you are talking about. I will try to fix SD card for latest version.
@TwrpBuilder SD Card is routed to Internal Storage after 15.07.2018 (shows same size)

    EDIT: Fixed and posted :)

is this twrp working witout any issues.
I tried it 2-3 weeks ago and i got a lot of errors something with "can´t read...." when i was trying to do a backup.
So before flashing again i would like to be sure that it is working flawlessly... ;)
Yes, I am using it and it's working flawlessly. Only downside is there is no encryption support yet but I'll work on that when my laptop returns. :)
