Just got my Z5 compact today, unlocked bootloader through official Sony lines. (wow that took long on first boot!)
flashed the recovery and boot provided by you, and so far, works flawlessly!

after this i flashed the prerooted firmware, and still, so far so good.
Recovery is still intact, and wiping functions work!

i will keep you posted as updates come :)

This work on 5803? Thanks!

I want to know this too. Have someone flashed this on a e5803 model?

Also... If I have latest firmware 32.0.A.6.200 will it work too?

this works on e5803 model with latest .200 firmware..coz that's what i have now & currently using this great work of @nilezon! very big thanx & credits to him! cheers!
anyways, here's how i did it(pretty much as what OP instructed but to be detailed):

- unlock your device's bootloader.download the .zip posted in OP.
- extract the .zip you downloaded then place the boot.img & recovery.img in adb folder in your PC,wc is inside or under C:\ .
- open command prompt: (Shift + right click then choose 'opent command prompt here').
- connect phone through USB cable & make sure correct drivers are installed as well.
- in command prompt, type in first 'adb devices'..it should tell you that the phone is connected & recognized.
- then type in 'adb reboot bootloader'.the phone will boot in fastboot mode & you'll see a blue light lit up.
- then type in 'fastboot devices'..will also tell you that phone is recognized.then type in these commands:

fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

- then type in 'fastboot reboot'..phone will reboot & when you see an amber/yellow light, press either the volume up or down a few times then the phone SHOULD now enter TWRP recovery.that's it..& good luck!

also big thanx to @Joeisgood99 for his works on AOSP builds for Z5C thread!you might also want check it out!click this link:

Could someone link me the latest working adb/fastboot files for Z5C please. I've rooted my Z5C a couple weeks ago and all was good and today I enabled Ultra Stamina Mode because we had a powercut and it corrupt most of the device when deactivated lol nothing fixed it so had to restore and now my fastboot drivers aren't working as when I try to flash TWRP it keeps saying "waiting for device" even though OEM Unlock and Debugging are enabled with device plugged into PC same time as VOL DOWN pressed still says waiting for device...

Samsungs are so much easier :p thanks.

FIXED!

Thanks to a recently big Windows 10 update, it messed a few apps up, sony drivers were one of them... Trying to install them again failed so I restarted PC with disabled driver signature enforcement and the drivers installed ok, fastboot picked up my device, flashed TWRP now I got ROOT :) I hope others with this specific problem with Windows 10 update corrupting apps and drivers helps figure out how to fix this issue.

To understand correctly: I have first to install the newest firmware, then ad this patch with TWRP?
How can I get the newest firmware on a rooted device? PC Companion always says the server is not reachable... (since a few days)
Kind regards

You updated a rooted device OTA?
nope! that's impossible! lol.. what i meant was,i had updated my phone OTA with stock .152 fw(if i recall exactly the fw version) to .200 fw version, then had it rooted & flashed this recovery & everything..

It seems as though flashing this on .200 has some video playback issues. Rebooting fixes it temporarily, but after what seems like a random amount of time, it comes back.

Edit: Works fine on everything else though, no issues with recovery.

what fw version u currently at,.152?if so & if u've unlocked ur device,PCC would definitely show that message..but if u upgrade your fw to latest .200 thru Flashtool, just download it from Xperifirm.
