If you need TWRP that badly it will work, until then you will have to wait for a release for A12.What do you recommend to get twrp working for people who's already on android 12?
Downgrade to android 11 via sideload, then install twrp?

Boots for me on 13.0.0 (TP1A.220624.014, Aug 2022) but it doesn't respond to touches.Hi guys. We will be finally having a 12.1 release soon. I have been told it should decrypt a13 too. Can you guys test this on flame? https://build.twrp.me/test/flame/twrp-3.6.2-0-a12-flame.img
Was this from fastboot or were you booting from a repacked twrp ramdisk?Boots for me on 13.0.0 (TP1A.220624.014, Aug 2022) but it doesn't respond to touches.

I don't think the kernel matters for booting twrp, but just in case it does, I'm using cleanslate 4.9.0 from https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...vib-wrgrd-jun-8.4027435/page-34#post-87299665 patched with magisk 25.2.
Booted from fastboot. Was this from fastboot or were you booting from a repacked twrp ramdisk?
Has anyone with 12.1 installed tried it yet? I am not sure we can support a13 yet.

I am running stock 12 too. Can you pull the logs for debugging? I don't think I can support a13 yet.
I didn't install, just opened with console (fastboot boot). Everything seems to be working fine for me. Responds to button presses, everything loaded. Here are the logsHi guys. I have been able to successfully boot my pixel 4 (flame) on android 13 with this test release for android 12. as mentioned by others, touch input doesn't work but if you plug a mouse into the phone the pointer will show up and the buttons are clickable.Hi guys. OK, good to know. You could also put it into an older installer zip from twrp.me to install it. Does decryption work?I have been able to successfully boot my pixel 4 (flame) on android 13 with this test release for android 12. as mentioned by others, touch input doesn't work but if you plug a mouse into the phone the pointer will show up and the buttons are clickable.
I just need an installer zip file for this to flash now that I'm in twrp. i didn't see where that was posted.
**update**
it's been a while for me away from using android a couple years now. i remembered after my post above that twrp can flash img files to recovery ramdisk. so that's what I did, and rebooted to recovery, and it loads and touch works!!
fastboot boot twrp-3.6.2_11-0-flame.img
Are you using Install Recovery Ramdisk to install the TWRP boot.img or flashing it to boot? You need to use Install Recovery Ramdisk for a11 based TWRP from twrp.me.Hey @bigbiff, thanks for all the work on getting this going. I'm just trying to figure out if I have the right steps to do what I want to do.
Here's the steps as I've run them:
- Install factory image (flame-rq3a.211001.001) -- success
- Install Kirisakuru kernel (7.9.3) -- success
- fastboot boot trwp-3.6.2_11-0-flame.img -- success
- Install twrp (Install -> Install from image), and install the image I used to boot after copying to sdcard. I installed to both slots on the boot.img. -- success
- Install Kirisakuru kernel (7.9.3) again just to be safe -- success
- Reboot system to factory image -- failed
This actually ends up booting back to TWRP, never to the ROM
My goal was to use Superr's kitchen suite to modify a factory ROM and flash it. When I justand try to install the .zip file, I get permission denied.Code:fastboot boot twrp-3.6.2_11-0-flame.img
My understanding is that permission denied error is on my account of not being in fastbootd mode. When I'm in fastbootd mode, I can't boot the twrp image.
So my next attempt was to install TWRP permanently. (I am using the Kirisakuru kernel). After installing TWRP, my system _only_ boots to TWRP. It will never bring up the factory system image.
Trying to install my ROM zip from TWRP even when installed permanently gets the permission denied error.
Is there something I'm missing here to actually be able to flash something with dynamic partitions when I'm not in fastbootd mode?
