TWRP Flame [Official]

I'm stuck and might be dealing with a compatibility issue here.

BootLoader unlocked
I tried loading twrp 3.7
somewhere somehow the phone will not boot up at all. it will just sit on google forever.
i can get to bootloader where it tells me that is unlocked. i can get to recovery and rescue and all that
fastboot boot twrp.img works and twrp comes up
i tried sideload for twrp.zip but it fails.
i tried to sideload a stock and a custom rom just to try and get the phone to boot again, obviously no..
since i couldn't boot, i did...
fastboot boot twrp -> adb push twrp.zip /data -> then tried to flash it from within twrp boot
i also pushed roms over just to try but they wont flash.
oh i also tried variations of - fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
at this point i just want to get it booting again so i can start over and ultimately end up with twrp recovery and a customs roms.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
**Ok so I fixed it. Factory wipe in recovery (which might have fixed the partition as it wasn't seeing A before) formatted and then adb sideload stock rom from recovery mode. It immediately booted again and I'm ready to try again lol.

36[RECOVERY] TWRP 3.5.0-0 - TeamWin Recovery Project
Introduction:
Team Win Recovery Project or TWRP for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. Please just restore persist if you have a failed partition. I do not recommend restoring backups from phone to phone unless you know what you are doing.
Repacking TWRP into Boot partition
To repack TWRP into the boot partition to override stock recovery when rebooting to recovery, perform the following steps
1. adb push <latest_boot.img> /sdcard/
2. reboot to bootloader and fastboot latest boot.img of TWRP
3. Go to Install
4. Touch Install Image
5. Select your boot.img from /sdcard
6. Swipe to confirm flash
7. Reboot to recovery and android to verify installation
TWRP won't Boot?
Make sure you have a kernel that supports the R DTBO and LZMA ramdisk starting with test5 such as https://forum.xda-developers.com/pi...nel-kirisakuraq-1-0-0-pixel-4-xl-aka-t39922137Hello, I was able to get repacking working, however you need to use a kernel with LZMA ramdisk support. I am using Kirisakura-FLORAL_5.2.2.zip for testing.
Also I am now using @Freak07 FLORAL kernel as a base for the fastboot image in order to support the newer DTBO image from R.
