well, in your situation, if you have carefully followed instructions, read all the posts, tried it and doesn't work for you. Your last resort would be

If not working

Use any Root Explorer on your phone to go to the folder "system"
and rename the file recovery-from-boot.p to recovery-from-boot.bak

only recovery.rar .. i dont see any recovery-from-boot.p

and after i rename it.. do i have to paste it and change my system/recovery-from-boot.p??

Why in my phone not prompt a dialig to allow that adb, n in command promt just stop in tke adb wait-for-device?
i've followed it , but when i go to twrp with press vol down i can't get in to twrp , same like as when i was installed cwm , why .. ?
please , give me solutions master . im just newbie ,.. :crying:

my zf5 is on bootloop after changing font, can i still able to install that twrp in recovery/droidboot?
my phone is rooted but lockedbootloader. can you help me with my problem please.
btw i dont have a pc so i ask, to be sure. i need to know so i can rent a pc.

I m using zenfone 5 on Kitkat when i m flashing this recovery via fastboot.. i get a working recovery but my phone gets bricked at the reboot . After again after flashing original recovery it boots.. This recovery is based on jb or Kitkat kernel ? Please mention

installed twrp on 4.4.2
after holding volume down button phone restarts into usb mode.
can restart via standard bootloader only.
there is no file recovery-from...in the system folder.
what's wrong?
