Wondering if anyone has tried Substratum on this rooted skinny rom yet. Themes in LG is cool, but Substratum had some excellent layers. Note to all......do not try logging onto your gmail account with a TOR browser. Google made me change my password and had to reset my Android as well. The very security that I was trying to achieve is not acceptable to Google or any .gov sites.

Update- Substratum working fine - even on top of LG thems. Using BigBlu and will try Transparent as well soon.

Tecs Lightning ROM for Aristo 2 plus (T-Mobile)

I've been using it for a week or so, works great! I will let you know if i run into any troubles, but so far so good. Android 8.1, lot less bloatware, and still works with TWRP 3.2.1.
Thanks for your hard work and contributions!

Can't boot into TWRP

Warning: Make a backup of your current stock recovery and data! As always I'm not responsible for bricks.

This is twrp version 3.2.1-0 and has finally been ported to the LG Aristo 2!

To flash:
1. Make sure your bootloader is unlocked
2. Download recovery.img from below
3. Boot phone into fastboot mode using "adb reboot bootloader" without quotations
4. Flash using "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" without quotations
5. Once it is done, disconnect the phone and reboot into recovery
6. Wipe /data and /cache
7. Flash no verity zip from https://build.nethunter.com/android-tools/no-verity-opt-encrypt/ (Get latest version)
8. Flash magisk zip from https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
9. Reboot and Enjoy!

Thanks to @brad2192 for flashing experimental builds for me!

*UPDATE 2-Fixed time bug, so now backups can be identified by date: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=5862345805528064784*

Trying to boot into twrp won't work for me, doing it in adb just brings up 'No Command'
and doing it in wipe device just wipes it normally.

I'm a bit confused on which recovery is the latest and proper working one, there is the one recommended in Tecknights guide to the Aristo 2 called twrpcv1oreokernel (MD5: ea8399701ffb25a4f6d3de469e4b9ffc) then theres this one from this thread with the github device tree now missing (MD5: 9711f2a87396a8687559fb684beb13b8) with a half megabyte difference in size between the two and then another 16.5mb one from another Aristo 2 rom thread (MD5: e2f3c2218103dbc7fb00984f21932d24), can anyone check these out and verify which is which?

If you have an Aristo 2 or 2 plus, I recommend this TWRP image:

Do I need a PC to install the twrp? Cause I don't have one.
Yes you do in fact need a PC to install TWRP the first time.
