may i ask about the SM-T220?
the TWRP posted here , works ( with no touch )
is it possible to use this version of TWRP to update the tablet to android 12 or 13? (i am currently on 11)
a few posts around the forums, report that A13/A12 is much better overall compared to A11. (i would like to upgrade but do not want to lose root)
has anyone tried the hovtk... TWRP port tool ? (i know this tool isn't very effective, just curious?) (this tool has worked for me on other devices, but not well)
may i ask, because i really don't know - what changes between RECOVERIES across android 11,12 and 13? ( is recovery no longer separate and built into the OS as one? )
would it be possible to TWRP for the DOWNLOAD MODE partition instead of a traditional recovery ? (this could be very bad if incorrect)

Do you want to flash the stock a12 or a custom rom? Also rooting is a rom thing it doesn't get carried over you need to root your new rom again anyways

I downloaded the TWRP.tar file, launched the Odin, placed the TWRP.tar in the AP slot, connected the device in Downloading mode, started Odin, waited for "Success", closed Odin, disconnected the device. Now I don't have the recovery at all, neigther TWRP nor the factory recovery, all gone.
Did I do something wrong?

Hello me and one of my friend painstakingly built a half working twrp with touchscreen working with the SM-T225-AVE1 Android 11 it flashes root from sdcard i have a custom vbmeta and a custom twrp.tar if anyone needs the link let me know and i will help u install it the priblem is is that the twrp needs the kernal to recognise mtp storage so twrp can talk to sm-t225-ave1 if i also got kernal source code so kernal could be modified to talk from the recovery to machine if u want the link i will post it but remember its still in testing stages for now
It boots on mine but when u go to foremat data it bootloops but its on the screen and alows you to use sdk tools to fastboot gsi system img i use crdroid A12

- > Other Problems: Sometimes when you boot recovery touch not works and only solution is to re-flash TWRP again from Odin, this is kernel issue, we need custom kernel. I found out that in that case you can reboot with usb otg and mouse connected and twrp could start working on next reboot.
- Install Instructions
- Flash TWRP from Odin on AP Slot & Hold Volume Up + Power while flashing until TWRP appears.
- Go to Advanced > Terminal and type "multidisabler" (without quotes", then data wipe.
- Now reboot into system, after completing first setup of the device reboot into TWRP again to see if you can see the contents of your Internal Storage, you should, if yes you have successfully disabled Samsung encryption of internal storage.

Nice, it's good to see someone owning the device developing for it, I was mostly "blindly" doing stuff and then asking Skorpion to test them.22
