Will answer to your last question first, cause I know the answer... You can use micro-sim in 2nd sim-slot (1st sim-slot is reserved for nano-sim). Also, I may try to answer to your first 3 questions, no matter I didn't try that (on nougat)... You can unlock bootloader, install twrp and root your phone successfully (safely).

Btw, that i don't understand is: now, with trwp, root and unlock bootloader, we have a password in twrp for the security of data? Or that wasn't implemented??

Hi! I read almost all post in here and I'm still confused about the rooting.

I got from Amazon USA this morning a new Honor 8 FRD-L04C567B360.
I was able to unlocked bootloader and flash TWRP 3.1.0-0.

My question is, how can I root the device?

I used before superSu, but with this TWRP all versions are failing with error "signature verification failed". I tried version: superuser-r275 (not working), superuser-r259 (also not working), and SuperSU-v2.79-201612051815 reboot my device but it does not root it.

What am I doing something wrong here?

Thanks!

HI again, I did a backup of my ROM this morning using TWRP then I decided to restore my backup and now I got a brick ****!
The device got stuck on "your device wi booting now..." it has been like that for the last 30 mins, I tried many times and is not rebooting.
Any idea what is going on or how to fix it?
Thanks!

Make sure you device is B360

1) Flash TWRP 3.1.0
2) Flash This --> Please note that you need to "Flash Image". NOT "Flash ZIP"
3) Reboot the device
4) Install Phh's 's Superuser from the Google Play.
:)
Thanks @AnDrOiiiD_YT for sharing the preroot boot image

Hi Guys, I woke up early this morning just to finish this ****.
Thanks for the help.
I made the device working again using the Huawei eRecovery, sorry @e_mc_square I saw your message too late, but thanks anyway!
I flashed TWRP 3.1.0 and is working fine., but now I stuck on the same step as last time.
I downloaded phh's SuperUser app from the play store and is not doing anything, also I downloaded the zip file superuser-r275.zip from here: https://superuser.phh.me/ and when I try to install using TWRP it doesn't work, the installation fails.
What am I missing?
Thanks again!

Hi Guys, it did worked! :D:D:D finally!
This was my problem, just in case someone need some help.
While I was trying to install phh's superuser-r275.zip from TWRP I was always checking the "validate zip signature" and it always failed, but this time I tried without that validation and everything went fine, the SU was installed with no problem and I'm now able to use titanium backup and CF.Lumen. thanks guys!
