I don't think you need lazy flasher if you are on LOS or AOSP? It is only for MIUI roms? I have never used it

That sound fix is the file with media profiles?
Default sound recording is mono audio with low bitrate(dont remember exactly mb 96kbps), this fix enables stereo audio recording with hevc codec(256 kbit/s from media profile)
sound fix doesnt replace media_profiles.xml

So what zip replacaes media profile, because hevc and slow motion is not enabled by default.

Could you provide "media profile only.zip" for AOSP and LOS users, since we already have camera2 api and googlecam is the target that needs those profiles? So we don't really need anything else :)
I dont understand why dont u just flash this camera.zip on ur rom? Is there different paths? U can install what u what in the future, including gcam.
All camera apps use this new media profiles. If u dont need 60 fps video recording, just delete sdcamera then. Thats ez:)
I wrote my instructions for non-root users firstly, thats why i was uploading flashable zips.

NOTE! YOUR DEVICE MUST HAVE UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER! THIS INSTRUCTION ONLY FOR SNAPDRAGON VERSION PHONES!
If you want to record smooth 60 fps videos with clear stereo sound and stabilization, follow these several simple steps:

1. Okay, it is supposed, that your device has unlocked bootloader, installed usb drivers and last fimware on android nougat.
First of all, go to camera settings and wipe all data from system camera app, then download all necessary files from my GoogleDrive folder "ALL TOOLS"HERE.
Copy all files on your sd card except recovery.7z

2. Unpack recovery.7z on PC in any folder.
Turn off your smartphone and enter fastboot mode(vol- and power on), connect your phone to PC and run boot_twrp.bat from "tools_r25.0.3-windows (2)" folder, follow instructions on the screen.
Wait for running twrp. (TWRP recovery won't be flashed on your device!)
P.S. Pass this step if u aready have flashed twrp recovery before it.

3. Tap install, and flash: Camera_2API_addon.zip => camera.zip => sound_fix_redmi_note4x_v1.zip=>( and MIUICameraBraviaV4.zip if u want replace miui stock camera app with modified one)
back to previous menu and wipe dalvic/art and cache
And finally DO NOT FORGET FLASH lazyflasher-no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip !

Reboot your smartphone and enjoy smooth video 60 fps recording with clear stereo sound with snapdragon camera.
Note. Your default media profiles will be replaced with modified ones and all camera apps now using h.265 codec with fix for sound recording.

P.S. And of course 60 fps recording requires a lot of light, so unfortunately u can not make a video inside buildings in the evening.
Also, I noticed some glitch, when i try to switch between 4k and 1080p mode with enabled stabilization, so i recomend to turn it off before changing resolution in video settings. + slow mo 720 p recording seems not working

I am not the creator of these files, so here are some credits:
Camera_2API_addon.zip credited with this post
camera.zip credited with this post
sound_fix_redmi_note4x_v1.zip credited with this post
MIUICameraBraviaV4.zip credited with this post
media_profiles.7z credited with this post
All these files were tested on 8.5.8.0 ROM (MIUI GLOBAL 8.5)
And remember , use it at your own risk!
Why bother too much, just flash CameraAPI2, then the lastest modded MIUI Camera, then lazy. And you're good to go. There are zero issues with the out of the box devices too. I dunno understand the hype.

Your MODs are not compatible with MIUI 9 7.10.19 Beta. TWRP+Magisk+Camera2API. Installing your .zips even after Lazy 5.1 gives bootloops. And as there's no uninstaller for any of the files, I had to flash system and boot in fastboot, only way to restore the device. Though I think it's on MIUI as many other mods have become incompatible with this version. Will try on RR and tell.
Currently the MIUI Camera and GCam gives x264 1080/4K @30fps. Yeah, I didn't read about your codec changing instructions properly.
Add it to your post if someone else can't confirm that it works on this last build.
