The TF701 was released what one or two years ago and still no touch recovery. This is a very good device and one of the more overlooked, IMO.
Makes me wonder why no one that has the knowhow can or will make the touch drivers needed for such a recovery
I very much agree with the earlier post here, it says it best.
It was released 9 months ago. Please go ahead and work out how to get touch drivers for the tegra4 working with twrp. Many others have tried and failed. ;)

If I could, I would! Maybe we should contact Nvidia, like that would help lol. ;)

Does TWRP has really advantages in comparing to CWM? Is there any problems with porting now, when touch recovery exist?
I like TWRP, I think it makes sense to have it working with touch. I can only think of 2 examples why it looks like its needed. Multirom and omnirom. Dont know otherwise.I dont really know about porting it? I t would be worth it.

Here is is a guide on doingit but its very much to go through

Is there any progress with it? I use philz touch, but its only the name "touch", and there is a bug, it cant recover data in twrp mode.

Okay, maybe I'm stupid, but I don't see where there's a Kernel to download and how to install it on that page.

What am I missing???
Nothing. He makes a cool kernel, but every tine someone ask that question, he posts something like that. Or maybe source code. He thinks everyone who asks, is a programmer. :)

I would love TWRP on mt tf701, I dont know what I can do to help. TWRP was the best thing i ever installed on my galaxyS4 and although im not opposed to other recovery apps, I would prefer TeamWin to keep winning on my devices.
I dont even know where to begin as my experience lies in python(&->kivy), beginner level bash. Not afraid in the least of using CLI but very afraid of bricking the tf701. If there is anything i can do count me in!

Personally I went back to CWM - didn't quite trust this Kang version....
