Don't know for LOS but once with b378 or b383 I l was experimenting and I restored eRecovery but still leaving the Android rooted. Later I flashified TWRP back and everything was Ok.
There aren't (many) references to Flashify on XDA Huawei topics, hence if anything goes wrong you will be alone. Better flash new TWRP from previous TWRP or by fastboot, which is proven to be safe by all users, and hence for various cases and with different preconditions.

You can try to relock/unlock bootloader but it will probably fail similarly.
Check your Fastboot screen on the phone - does it show FRP Locked?
If so, make sure you enable OEM Unlocking under Developer Options.

But if:
- OEM Unlocking is disabled and grayed under Developer Options
- Fastboot shows FRP Locked (with Bootloader Unlocked)
then you're in trouble, you will have to Downgrade to b300, upgrade to b182, and then upgrade (hopefully by OTA) to b383->b386 to be able to enable OEM Unlocking (unlock FRP) and to proceed with flashing TWRP

Erased everything

i have fallen into this post by chance after i was feeling that i am out of luck :D, flashed the recovery ;) then boom its working  i went to the wipe option  and ticked every thing:victory: then flashed linege os rom for the p9 before the vendor zip  (from happiness) then i felt that i did something wrong :silly: rebooted and again stucked with no twirp and no everything this time :cowboy: hoorey

---------- Post added at 04:19 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:10 AM ----------

Fastboot must print Successfully Flashed with no errors on PC.
Upon flashing:
1) Type: fastboot reboot, but do not press Enter on the PC
2) Press and keep pressing Power and Volume Up on the phone
3) Press Enter on the PC
4) Immediately disconnect USB
5) When phone prints bootihg, release Power but keep pressing Volume Up

If you fail something in the above steps and phone boots to eRecovery, you loose TWRP and you will have to flash it again.
You must boot to TWRP right upon flashing, to preserve it - if you boot to Android or eRecovery, you loose TWRP.

Later, of course, you can reboot to TWRP by Power and Volume Up, or from rooted System by using Reboot application.
But that first time booting to TWRP is crucial
this is magic

Same problem and solution has been dscussed in the thread several times.
Don't just read OP on the 1st page, but also backwards from the end and you will find it

I am not sure if it will work with you, but you have two ways to boot to TWRP:

1- Press the three buttons at the same time until booting to TWRP.
2- or go to boatloader, then type in the command window: fastboot boot <TWRP image name>.img. Of course, you must have TWRP image in the working directory of adb.
I'll comment on option #2. It's not necessary to boot twrp img file each time. You can just type 'fastboot reboot' in the bootloader, then immediately disconnect USB and press vol+. That's how it works for me at least.

Reboot recovery again, it's a bug which can happen on system as well
