I do have TWRP RECOVERY 3.1 for Gionee P7 as well as Lineage OS 14.1, but unable to post link here, if u want it just reply how could I share link with u, will do it.

Well porting dot os 8 would require a custom kernel that supports oreo roms.I tried porting some oreo roms,but it stucks in a black screen.As we don't have access to the kernel source codes yet,I don't think there is much we can do but wait.

Try flashing through SP Flash Tool, after flashing restart ur device again in recovery mode then flash Super SU or latest Magisk and only after that reboot to system.

Hello,
I must be the only Caucasian owning a W909, which I love.
However, it's leaking everything it can and GioneeOS is quite unreliable...
Rooted using KingoRoot, but I don't trust this application either.
PMP, Boot Manager, DroidWall, Open Contacts, OrBot and BlockAda barely contain data...
It's like trying to plug the Titanic with a chewing gum...
Does anyone have an idea wether TWRP/CWM could work on such device?
