How does one downgrade from 3.16 RUU during S-OFF? Step 7 of the Dirtyracun asks to include RUU OF the current Hboot, which I don't think is out yet. Can we just include 3.15 RUU?

Morning all, I've run into a problem. I'm on TWRP 2.4, MeanBean 3.0.3 which is the 3.16 base, S-off, lastest TP firmware. When I try to make a Nand backup, it performs the back up in about 3 seconds which I know is not normal and the "backup" does not show on the TWRP folder. It also doesn't allow me to create a back up file name. When I attempt, It says a backup already exists. I only have one nand back up when I was on TWRP 2.2.0 (I think).

Can anyone advise?

And if I restore a previous nand using an older TWRP version, will I encounter any issues?

twrp 2.4.1.0 or 2.4.0.0 ?
I'm using 2.4.1.0 with all my firmware updated and have zero problems with making backups

You tried reflashing recovery?
Sir, yes sir. I tried three times through goo manager and the same thing happens.

I'm in the process of downloading the latest recovery (2.4.1.0) from the TeamWin website as to flash through boot loader, but for some reason the file says PJ75IMG-TWRP-2.3.1.0-jewel.zip which strikes me as odd.

Right, I would try either through fastboot via img flash, or through the bootloader. The PJ75IMG.zip is just an old version. You can still download it and replace the recovery.img inside the zip with the latest .img.

Welp, I tried through bootloader and I also tried reverting to an older TWRP version w/o success (the touch affect didn't work). It still seems as though the nandroid backup process only takes a few seconds. And it still says "A backup already exists" when I try to assign a name prior to trying to backup my Rom.

Edit 4:58pm

Ok chief, I'm good. I ended up deleting both internal and external storage "twrp" folders. It appears there were remnants of twrp version 2.2.2 left over. Although I previously deleted all the files in both folders, when I deleted the actual twrp folders, it sd there was 1kb of info I was deleting. But all works now! Thanks!

issue solved, stuck on 1x

What I think he means is that he did the full ota, and then went to flash a rom. Problem is, the custom roms have not been updated and they will not work with the new tp.img. At least this is what happened to me when i tried to go back to a custom rom based on 3.15 and once booted up the screen was unresponsive. I flashed the tp.img from 3.15 ruu and everything was fine.

With that ^^ said here is this

For anyone that is still stuck with an unresponsive screen here is the tp.img from the 3.15 ruu. Must be s-off. Rename to PJ75IMG and flash through bootloader.

i did what you said, my touchscreen issue was solved but i am stuck on 1x and unable to get my 3g working after several methods :( help!

What is your baseband?
im really sorry im a noob, how do i check my baseband? will attach the bootloader screenshot. I lost 3g after i checked out in some other thread that the touchscreen issue can be resolved by following this"

" For anyone that is still stuck with an unresponsive screen here is the tp.img from the 3.15 ruu. Must be s-off. Rename to PJ75IMG and flash through bootloader."

I downloaded the tp.img and flashed it sucessfully, the touchscreen started working but lost my 3g, any help would be really appreciated.

Have you tried updating your Profile and Prl?

my baseband is 1.12.11.119, is this the right one? should i use a different baseband? if so which one?

i am not a sprint user, i have flashed this phone to a different operator, even then i tried resetting all the values and flashed it again and manually put in the required prl and data settings, still stuck on 1x.
