Not with this recovery, not stock compatible. Use the one provided into you rom thread.

It is almost impossible to install this continuous error of MD5. Both zip installable as install by ADB.
What do you mean?

Can't make it work

What am I doing wrong?
I'm on a freshly flashed .291 and have an Unlocked Bootloader
I used fastboot on cmd and the code fastboot flash FOTAKernel twrp_z3_2017-03-16.img
It says OK and Finished but after using fastboot reboot there's still no TWRP
Why? I've been doing this for hours

Power off the device without usb cable,
press vol- & power at the same time until device vibrate.

I'm sorry but of course I've already done this.
So your BL isnt upgraded. Flashing .291 need to be done with emma to get the 2nd one. Follow the instructions into thread 'build process explained'.
If you want install an AOSP based rom use the old way: flash kernel, volume rocker when light come up.

Thanks alot!
Moreover I have trouble flashing roms with twrp. It says E1001: Failed to update system image.
Any ideas how to fix this? I tried to flash lineageos-14.1-20170509-nailyk-z3.zip
Not sure without the recovery log but you probably should flash the boot.img before.
If it still don't work reflash full stock with emma, flash boot, flash recovery, install again.
We use an upgraded ext4 fs version who can get into trouble with some old stocks.

Also you should install @xkeita rom, more up to date, more fixes.

Could i use the 'TWRP 3.1.1 - 2017/06/09' from xkeita Linage on AiM-ROM?
If yes, should i flash the whole 'twrp-3.1.1-20170608-xkeita-z3.zip' or just exxtract the 'recovery.img'?
Something with Java, but for what is the 'META-INF' file exxactly?

Yes, both custom AOSP roms who support extract_elf_ramdisk.
Upto you to flash the @xkeita twrp: fastboot or zip.
Meta-files are needed to make the zip 'installable' into recovery.

What's the difference between your 3.1.0 here and the 3.1.1 on the LineageOS thread?

Do you plan to update to 3.1.1 here?

There is no HW encryption support on xkeita one as it is broken on twrp side. That's why I still didn't upgrade it.
AFAICT this is the only one who support it.

Are you asking for an ETA? Because delay +10days when asking for ETA
