Tested on Z5 compact and phone goes in boot loop with Sony logo
To start, Turn off the phone, wait for 5 seconds, then hold down the power key and the volume down key as soon as the device starts on, release the keys and wait for the launch of the recovery, everything.
So you run a recovery?
You flash a recovery Suzuran?

It is for AOSP (from source) will this work for stock? You didn't mention this.
I loked into source, this is for E6653 and support 83. Will it work with E6603, E6633?
Recovery works regardless of firmware. The firmware can be any starting from MM.
On sonyxperiadev no source for E6603, E6633 and I don't guarantee the work on these devices. To say exactly works recovery or not, need to test.

Maybe I am too stupid, but I can't get into recovery. I'm on Z5 Prem, E6853.
I press both buttons, power an vol. down, then I release the powerbutton after it vibrates once. I keep holding vol. down, notification LED lights in purple for about a second, it vibrates a second time, the screen backlight turns on, screen stays black. After a few more seconds, the backlight turns off.
What can I do?

The same happens to me too! I use E6883, for now I'm on TWRP 3.0.2! Hope someone can get this working.

New and previous recovery You have won't start?
Most likely the kernel is not properly configured, I had similar on the Z5C.

the_brad, If you have a saved "TA" partition, then you can integrate my recovery with the built-in kernel using TA recovery. Integration will lose part of the functionality, the modules will not be copied and the decryption of the data will not work.
Start: after turning on the phone, press the volume increase button and as soon as the indicator lights up, immediately remove the finger from the button. At this point, the indicator will change color and start.

hi,
i tried your recovery on my z5 with lastest mm 32.2.A.5.11 & androplus kernel v42 &
it doesn't work.
after flashing i type fastboot reboot in cmd,
led turns blue (for tap2recovery), then orange (for volume button), then yellow (entering recovery) (this colors are from androplus twrp :confused:),
then led turns into purple/vibrate and boot again.

@the_brad,
guck mal hier rein, falls du es noch brauchst ;)
das twrp fürs normale z5 sollte beim premium auch ohne probleme funktionieren
https://kernel.andro.plus/kitakami_r2.html
ich hab diese version drauf twrp-3.0.2-0-E6653-20160504.img
die findest du, wenn du auf der seite von androplus auf xperia z5 klickst

@AndroPlus,
can you help a bit
