I opted for Best Buy because I have had problems with both FedEx and UPS delivering packages to the wrong unit at my complex and neither of them have actually been collecting signatures since COVID either even when the package instructions say to get one. Didn't want to chance the phone getting stolen during shipment or after delivery. Plus I haven't had a Samsung since the Note5 and if I have any issues with it, I want that easy return policy at Best Buy (I live in CO so no restocking fee to contend with).
Should of had done the same, FedEx delivered my package to the wrong address today 🤬. Tracking number even shows a picture of where the package was left and it's not my home. It was left without a signature, didn't know this was possible, since they wouldn't deliver my wife's Z flip 4 without a signature.

I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you. Did you file a claim with FedEx and also call Samsung to make them aware? They need to work together for this to be fixed. Otherwise, you'll have to claim with your credit card company but doing so should be your last resort because it will all but surely burn your Samsung account. If you can't get satisfaction from the front line reps, go to Samsung.com and scroll all the way down and you'll see a link to email the CEO. Use that and they'll get back to you. I won't say what they did for me when their website rejected my order with 3 different cards on 3 separate days a total of 11 times but I will say that I was very satisfied in the end.

I accepted Samsungs offer since I don't know if the phone will eventually make it to me but if it does I'm hoping I can have it reactivated.

Well that's pretty awesome on Samsung's part. That is certainly far less hassle than I would have expected and I hope you left a compliment for the rep that did that because that's almost certainly them taking ownership and going above and beyond for you. Very nice.

Happy happy day, I am in possession of my new device. It was left about five houses down from mine.

For those whose had their pre-orders for pick up at Best Buy or whose had experience with that on previous releases, when do you get the confirmation that it'll be ready for pick up already? The night before release? Do all pre-orders going through best buy pick up release the day of release?

Just came here to ask this exact question. When I click my Samsung order number and hit track it seems like it will notify me when it's ready for pickup but I want to get it first thing tomorrow so I'm hoping I'll get the email later tonight after Best Buy is closed.

I just got my text that it's ready for pickup tomorrow!!

Unfortunately my husband and I hit the vodka and the Cask House 53.5% triple oak (holy crap I have never had a whiskey I could actually say was demonstrably better than the rest until now but for less than $30 a bottle, I'm beyond impressed and proud that something so good came from CO) so I prolly won't be there at 10AM but I'll get it by the afternoon sometime lol

Heads Up Folks. Make sure you take pictures of your trade-in before shipping it off to Samsung. I shipped my S22U back Wednesday and they got the phone at 10:20am today in Texas. Then 4 hours later they send me an email saying that the phone passed most of the required conditions but the screen was cracked so they charging me $155.00 for the cracked screen. NO WAY! Phone was in mint condition when I sent it back. Not a scratch or ding on the phone and battery life was still at 97%. Unbelievable! Gonna call them now and have them ship it back to me or deduct the $155.00 and if they don't resolve this it will be my last Samsung phone!

    I never used it before. Maybe I should cancel my order and use rakuten ( I bought from Samsung directly).
    The thing that bothers me is it says "up to 15%".
    Why not just say 15? Cause up to means it could be from one up to 15 so how is the actual amount determined?

    that cus samsung sell others stuffs too like TV, microwave, refrigerator, etc
    when you click on samsung, then it shows phone is 15%. TV is 3% refrigerator is 5%. something like that. i getting 105$ back. sure, cancel and reorder if you can wait. but i hate waiting, it's torture.
