I saw other people running into the same thing on Slickdeals. One dude actually said last year he ordered the day after the Samsung event from Fi and he didn't finally get his phone until April because they kept pushing it out. Ridiculous
Yeah it sucks, I ordered 30 mins right after the Samsung unpack event went live, so I'll see what happens another week with the dates for my order. Maybe just cancel and wait for Samsung to bring back better trade in deals in few months or so

Yeah I just tried ordering directly from Samsung again and again they refunded and canceled the order. Apparently customer service's suggestion of waiting 72 hours after updating my Samsung profile was still not enough. They really don't want to sell me this phone I guess. *shrug*

I was in the process of ordering from Amazon after seeing that Fi was pushing shipping dates back but I think I'm just going to wait. I really wanted that 15% cash back from Rakuten and if I'm not going to get that, I'm going to wait until either my Pixel 7 Pro messes up again (I've had the screen replaced twice because the first one went defective and the second one they installed was defective right away -- doesn't inspire confidence long term) or a good sale comes. Added an alert for S23 on Slickdeals so I can find out about anything that pops up.

Is no one but Samsung.com and bestbuy selling the 1tb model?

Rakuten Cashback takes a while right? Like 3 months?

Anyone received theirs from Amazon?

Thank god I can finally get rid of my IPhone, never should have switched from S22; got bored never again.

AT&T is giving me $1000 bill credit for my IPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB.
Also getting the $50 discount through Samsung along with 512 GB upgrade

Balance will be charged $5.05 a month for 36 months which I will pay in full after activation

I decided that my 9th try ordering this phone should be without using my Samsung account. Used Amazon Pay with my Discover. It wasn't immediately canceled and refunded. Unfortunately, when I called Discover to make sure they approve the charge, they're down for maintenance.

If this attempt fails, I'm just going to take it as a sign from the universe that I shouldn't get it. This is my 9th attempt. It's the first time it wasn't immediately canceled and refunded so... fingers crossed... I want that 15% from Rakuten.

fedex already showing my tracking number, expected ship day this Thursday, delivery next Monday the 13th.
or maybe it's just the phone case or the 15w wireless charger. but then again, why would they wait til Thursday to ship the phone case or 15w wireless charger.

Ricockulous but I finally got an order confirmation instead of cancellation. Anyone else having this problem, don't log into your Samsung account. 11 times it took me but I now have an order confirmed for pickup at my local Best Buy on the 17th. Also have the $180 from Rakuten pending for my next big check (not to mention $1600 more that I surely won't get but if I do, won't gripe about).

Not sure why people have so many problems ordering. I do it every year and it works first time with same card every year. I always do a trade in and its always in pristine condition so I guess they know me well and hence I never have any issues. But I am sure there are a lot of security protocols that could complicate things. Like if your credit card doesn't match the address you want to ship to. They mostly want Fedex to deliver only to your house and the address on the credit card to avoid fraud. They also need a signature and are not going to deliver to any P.O. Boxes. Other things that might affect orders would be your credit history and scores. If you are trying to finance a phone and your credit history is showing a bunch of late payments that could affect things also. But mostly I think it's about identiy and location and confirming you are who you say you are. I have lived in the same address for 13 years so they definitely know I am legit.

That sounds about right judging by my past few years ordering phones directly from Samsung. They always get pre-orders to people 3-4 days before they hit stores. But last year I think there was a slight 1 day delay because of the bad weather that happened in Texas which is where they will be shipping from. They usually ship them out in batches and some of the phones already in the Fedex system are on hold so they can all be sent out at the same time. Which would explain why you got a tracking number but they aint shipping it till Thursday.

I had to install the FedEx App and then login to my account to see that the shipping manager in Coppell, TX sent info to FedEx and also expecting delivery on Monday the 13th.

On the 'order' site all colors still sat Feb 17. I guess we shall see, and if I will buckle and go back to black, again or the green!
Feb 17th is Store day they just throw that out there and it Doesn't mean Squat. I already see FedEx is Delivering Monday the 13th for most people. Probably the Unlocked models like mine because people are already getting the carrier models. If you want to check to see if more info is available login to your account on the FedEx App like I did and there you will see if you got a delivery pending. Thats how I found out. It's just saying Shipment Info sent to FedEx and expected delivery is Monday the 13th.

Credit card matches the address for delivery and it was booting the order even when I chose pick up at Best Buy which is basically the safest way for them since the store will verify my ID in person.

I've got no late payments and a 13 year long credit history with FICO scores in the high 700s (one of my mortgage scores is 729 but the rest of my scores are between 750-829) so it's definitely not my credit report. Plus I was instantly approved for $4200 with Samsung Financing when I was placing the order the first time and Samsung still canceled the order.

I think it's just something with my Samsung account. I haven't had a Samsung product since the Note 5 in 2015 and my Samsung profile was showing numerous fields as null when I checked it. Unfortunately fixing it didn't fix the problem.

It's been hours now though and no cancelation notice so it seems the 11th time was the charm, as absurd it is to say that.

The Rakuten $180 is pending too and I still got my free year of Samsung Care+ with the $100 credit so all's well that ends well, I guess.

Well that's pretty awesome on Samsung's part. That is certainly far less hassle than I would have expected and I hope you left a compliment for the rep that did that because that's almost certainly them taking ownership and going above and beyond for you. Very nice.
Happy happy day, I am in possession of my new device. It was left about five houses down from mine.

    Rakuten is offering a whopping 15% on phones at Samsung.com. That's a whopping $180 back on a $1200 purchase.

I never used it before. Maybe I should cancel my order and use rakuten ( I bought from Samsung directly).
The thing that bothers me is it says "up to 15%".
Why not just say 15? Cause up to means it could be from one up to 15 so how is the actual amount determined?

that cus samsung sell others stuffs too like TV, microwave, refrigerator, etc
when you click on samsung, then it shows phone is 15%. TV is 3% refrigerator is 5%. something like that. i getting 105$ back. sure, cancel and reorder if you can wait. but i hate waiting, it's torture.
