THAT!I think it's just something with my Samsung account. I haven't had a Samsung product since the Note 5 in 2015 and my Samsung profile was showing numerous fields as null when I checked it. Unfortunately fixing it didn't fix the problem.

Yeah but trying to fix those fields didn't fix anything. I can't be the only one who has ever run into this issue. I did add a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic to my Samsung profile in January and even sent them an email to have them update my warranty and my email address is the same as it ever was, my phone number on the account was still the verification number for 2FA (and I confirmed the 2FA when logging in).
Maybe it will go smoother next time. Just make sure all your fields are filled in and next time you order they will see the previous order worked out and maybe you won't have to go thru that again.Yeah but trying to fix those fields didn't fix anything. What's hilarious though is that I got a text to both my numbers on my Samsung account confirming order status updates even though when I checked out this time, I wasn't logged in and only used one of them in the field, so it still tied my order to my account (probably based on my email address) but didn't bounce it this time around.
I can honestly say I've never had anything like this happen before and if this phone wasn't the only acceptable replacement for my Pixel 7 Pro (I need dual SIM in some fashion and OnePlus doesn't offer dual SIM on US models anymore, Apple was out because... Apple, and I wanted a flagship but I am not happy with the modem and battery in my Pixel and it's probably just a matter of time before my screen goes defective and needs a third replacement too), I would have given up and they would have lost the sale.
I hope it's the same for their bespoke colors. Right now mine says backordered...According to my FedEx Account Samsung has the pre-orders on hold in Coppell, Texas so they can be shipped out enmasse on Thursday with a delivery date of Monday Feb 13th, 4 days before stores get them. This fits the profile of what they have done in the past so pre-orders customers get their phones a couple days earlier than retail. So if your order says Jan 17th like mine you'll be getting them on the 13th.
Mine still shows Feb 22-24. I placed the order on February 2nd.I never received a email or anything about the updated delivery date, I just check my order this morning the estimated delivery date moved to march 3-10, my preorder was still the at the original feb 16-17 dates yesterday, it must have changed overnight sometimeView attachment 5827543
What color did you pre-order? I originally had the green pre-ordered Feb1st at 1:30 EST, then the it was moved to the March 3-10, I cancelled and ordered the cream color on the Feb 4th and have delivery date of Feb 20-21 still for the cream.

Yea but that's because with a carrier you pay monthly for the phone for up to two years or whatever it is. It's not like I can walk into best buy or TMobile and trade in my S22U that I use on MetroPCS which is owned by T-Mobile and just walk out with a S23U without having an account with them.I ordered through Xfinity Mobile on 2/1. Order still shows as processing.
1 important thing I found is that Samsung and the carriers must have agreed on Samsung offering less in trade in value than the carriers. Well at least in the USA, since through Samsung you get $500 off for trading S22 Ultra but for example me through Xfinity Mobile I got $800 off. I was reviewing other carriers and it seems they were all offering similar $800 or up to $1000 trade in for S22Ultra through carrier deal.
Yeah but on the flipside you're probably saving more than enough having Metro to offset that $300 difference.Yea but that's because with a carrier you pay monthly for the phone for up to two years or whatever it is. I just got a "label created" notification from FedEx, estimated delivery 2/15. I ordered a red Ultra from Samsung and live in Pennsylvania. That date might get a little closer I'm guessing. In the past a signature was also required.Best not to put too much stock in what your Samsung Order is telling you for dates on the Shop App. Download the FedEx App signup for an acount and see if you have deliveries pending. I already had an account with FedEx and when I logged in I could see the shipping label was created and it's going to ship out Thursday for a Monday delivery. So use the FedEx App to get more accurate idea on your shipping dates. If the label been created you'll see it in the system. If not you won't see anything until a label created.
Yeah you have to be there to sign for it or somebody else at the delivery address. That helps cut out the Porch Pirates and people falsely reporting their phone never arrived when in fact it did. That happens more frequently than you think.I just got a "label created" notification from FedEx, estimated delivery 2/15. I ordered a red Ultra from Samsung and live in Pennsylvania. My point was that last year, Samsung was giving you up to $800-$1,000 off for your S21 Ultra for the S22 Ultra. I traded a S20 Ultra with a cracked screen and got $700 off for the S22 Ultra. This year they are only giving $500 max for the S22 Ultra through Samsung.com but if you do it through your carrier it's $800 off. This tells me that the carriers must have complained to Samsung about last years trade program as it was hurting carriers ability to lock users into contracts. I would rather be unlocked carrier free, but I'm just pointing out what I noticed.Yea but that's because with a carrier you pay monthly for the phone for up to two years or whatever it is. Yea I am pretty sure that is what happened. I'm curious if waiting will be a good idea in case they may increase the trade in value later. My point was that last year, Samsung was giving you up to $800-$1,000 off for your S21 Ultra for the S22 Ultra. Last year I waited until March when the pre-orders were done and that's when they offered $700 off for my cracked screen Galaxy S20 Ultra. So I would say, it's possible you would get an increase in trade value, but ultimately it would cost the same since you are getting a storage upgrade right now that you would not get in March.Yea I am pretty sure that is what happened. Don't Forget two things. 1) Samsung just had the worst quarterly phone sales in 8 years. 2) The Exynos Chipset for the s22 was horrendously bad. There ain't gonna be high demand for those. My point was that last year, Samsung was giving you up to $800-$1,000 off for your S21 Ultra for the S22 Ultra. Happy happy day, I am in possession of my new device. It was left about five houses down from mine.Well that's pretty awesome on Samsung's part. That is certainly far less hassle than I would have expected and I hope you left a compliment for the rep that did that because that's almost certainly them taking ownership and going above and beyond for you. Very nice.
I never used it before. Maybe I should cancel my order and use rakuten ( I bought from Samsung directly).
The thing that bothers me is it says "up to 15%".
Why not just say 15? Cause up to means it could be from one up to 15 so how is the actual amount determined?
