Yep, my card was charged about 2 hours ago for my Pre Order through TMobile. Usually that means they are in the process of pulling and packing the order. Prior years shows should get UPS tracking in a day or two.

Mine was charged Feb 02. The last time I ordered from Samsung they put the transaction through, then reversed it. Then put the charge through again when it shipped. Maybe to verify your card or credit limit?
That's normal for Samsung. First charge is to verify you have the funds. Then with no further activity it drops off. Then you will see it again when the shipping process starts.

I ordered 2 on first day. One through t-mobile and the other through Samsung. I have tracking numbers for both as of today. The one from Samsung shipping through FedEx says ETA February 15th but no movement. The one from Tmobile shipping via UPS with an ETA of 02/13 with no movement. I've seen this before and until I see it was picked up, I won't expect it on those days. Hopefully we see movement soon.

5 days and counting and they haven't removed the charge. Maybe it's close to being shipped.
Look on the FedEx Website. The shipping label was created for mine Friday but it is not shipping till Thursday cause the phone is on hold in Coppell, Texas. They do this every year same way and you get the phone 3-4 days before retail. Most likely you will get your phone delivered on Monday the 13th which is when mine is scheduled to arrive according to Fedex. My card was billed when I ordered it 30 min after the event, it fell off after 2 days then it cleared my card Friday when the shipping label was created.

Why does ATT offer the S3 as a tradin device for 1000, but Samsung website through ATT does not offer the same trade in? Is there a way to get the S3 through by calling Samsung or its not an option?

I always buy unlocked from Samsung. Pop my T-Mobile Sim out of old phone and into new phone and my plan stays at $32.95 a month total with 5gb of Data and Unlimited Text with no Carrier bloat. When you get those $1000 Cashback plans you are getting locked in to a contract. With my plan I can quit anytime and go to another carrier simply by swapping Sims.

Because they want to lock you into a contract. I always buy Unlocked and my T-Mobile pre-paid plan always stays at $32.95 a month. Quick and Painless. Swap the Sim card to new phone and no Contracts and No Carrier Bloat and I have the Freedom to switch carriers at anytime.

I don't care about being locked in with ATT. I have been with them for over 20 years. Not leaving so a contract means nothing to me.

Well that's pretty awesome on Samsung's part. That is certainly far less hassle than I would have expected and I hope you left a compliment for the rep that did that because that's almost certainly them taking ownership and going above and beyond for you. Very nice.
Happy happy day, I am in possession of my new device. It was left about five houses down from mine.

    Rakuten is offering a whopping 15% on phones at Samsung.com. That's a whopping $180 back on a $1200 purchase.

I never used it before. Maybe I should cancel my order and use rakuten ( I bought from Samsung directly).
The thing that bothers me is it says "up to 15%".
Why not just say 15? Cause up to means it could be from one up to 15 so how is the actual amount determined?

that cus samsung sell others stuffs too like TV, microwave, refrigerator, etc
when you click on samsung, then it shows phone is 15%. TV is 3% refrigerator is 5%. something like that. i getting 105$ back. sure, cancel and reorder if you can wait. but i hate waiting, it's torture.
