Anyone else here ordered one of the Samsung special colors unlocked from Samsung? I did, and it still says backordered. Interested to know if it's the same for everyone with the special color order.

I can still select the graphite color in the US Samsung app to get it by Feb 17.

Yes, it does still say that (that's the one I ordered). All the colors still say that . And when I ordered it it said the same. A bit weird.

Maybe they finally went out of stock and the app did not actually update yet.

I ordered Lime. It said that until yesterday. Then this morning my fedex label was created with estimated delivery 13 feb.

Just ordered the graphite S23U and got an email they processed my payment. It shows online as in process still.

Didn't receive anything regarding how to send in my S22U. I figured they would send me a shipping label or something to my email.

Edit: Mine also says Backordered now.

You will get an email with the shipping label AFTER they ship the phone. You put just the phone only in your new S23U box. Unless you still have your old box which I always do so I send it back in that. You still gotta pay FedEx for a Box and packing material to put the phone box in unless you got a spare box and packing laying around. You have two weeks to get it back to Coppell, Texas after you get the new phone or they will bill you for the full cost of the phone.

One other person mentioned it had said that but it actually shipped next day.

I got the 512gb graphite unlocked. But on the website and app they still all show get it by Feb 17th.

That's what mine says on the Samsung site for the phantom Black. But it actually coming Monday according to FedEx.

Looks like the Shipments out of Texas are getting ready to move. Just got a notice from FedEx that phone on the way and be Delivered on Monday before noon.

On the website it says expected Feb 17th under my orders. I think the app itself is goofed up where in the app it states backordered.

I'll probably get it before then too. Will be nice to put the new camera to work when I go on vacation in April.

Stop believing the Samsung Website it is not giving you accurate info. It's just a guesstimate. Here is proof! It says Jan 17th on Samsung on first image. In second image you see it's on the way with a Jan 13th delivery date so the website and app is still showing bogus info and doesn't even know my order shipped already. So obviously it's behind.

I preordered on the same day the S23 Ultra was revealed and have been hoping that Samsung would be shipping early again this yeart. When I logged into my FED EX account, I can see that my new S23 Ultra has been picked up and is scheduled to be delivered on Monday - 2/13. Can't wait!

First charge is to verify you have the funds. Then with no further activity it drops off. Then you will see it again when the shipping process starts.

I'm not sure that's always the case. I was charged on the 2nd and it still shows.
Perhaps that's because the order status is ''awaiting dispatch''.
Last year I ordered the S22U on Feb 01 and the charge was added and almost immediately removed until it was shipped. However it took over 4 weeks to ship.
Both orders were 1TB Phantom Black devices.
